Q. Hello, I am Tarun Dobhal from Lucknow (U.P.). I have given my 12 board exams this year and result has not declared yet. I want to drop one year and do preparation for JEE mains and advanced but my parents are not allowing me due to our financial conditions they are unable to give high fees of coachings ,also they are thinking that if somewhere they arrange some money but if I will not get any IIT and NIT then whole money as well as one year will be waste that's why they are forcing me to do Bsc😶. But I don't want to do Bsc.My 11 class has gone in online mode due to covid-19 which was fully wasted for me because I don't have good smart phone and my half 12 class also gone in online mode, that's why as of now my basics are weak😔. I want to ask you one more thing that if I take drop one year and do self study and start from zero, then can I get rank under 1-50 in JEE advanced ( I belong from general category) or can I become the topper of 2023? But I have heard that students do atleast 2-4 years preparation then they can crack jrr advanced exam. Pls give me honest answer what should I do?
