NTA releases Question Paper and Answer Key for JEE Main February session | Registration for March session started

The JEE (Main) - 2021 for February Session was conducted throughout the country and abroad from February 23 to 26, 2021 through the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The National Testing Agency has uploaded the Provisional Answer Keys along with the Question Paper with Recorded Responses on the JEE (Main) website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in for candidates to challenge.

Additionally, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2021 application form on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can now apply online for March, April, and May sessions. The last date to register for JEE Main is March 6, 2021. JEE Main 2021 March session will be conducted from March 15 to 18, 2021.

The procedure (as enclosed) for the challenge of Answer Key may be used. The candidates, who are not satisfied with the answer key, may challenge the same by paying a fee of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee. This facility is available from 01/03/2021 to 03/03/2021 (up to 05.00 PM). The payment of the processing fee may be made through, Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm up to 03/03/2021 (till 06.00 PM). No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge is found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.

Students are being provided another opportunity to candidates to apply for/withdraw from the (remaining) JEE (Main) - 2021 Sessions. It is once again informed that March (Session-2) and April (Session-3) will be conducted only for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech). The candidates wishing to appear again for Paper 2A (B.Arch) and 2B (B. Planning) will have the next opportunity to apply during the May session (Session-4) Application process.

Note: A candidate has the option to apply for one session or more than one Session (March /April /May 2021) together and pays the exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for one session, he/she has to pay the Examination Fee only for that Session during the current application period and will have the opportunity to apply again for the remaining April / May Sessions. The candidates who have applied earlier for March/April/May Session can modify their particulars (Session, Category, Subject, etc.) from 2 to 6 March 2021. Due to limited time, there will be no correction window available after the Application Form closes on March 06, 2021 (6:00 pm). Therefore the candidates have to be extremely careful. A candidate can also withdraw from March/April/May sessions by following the procedure detailed in the Application Form. The candidates for Bahrain who could not appear in the examination for Feb Session due to lockdown are being intimated separately by e-mail. The Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and (jeemain.nta.nic.in) for the latest updates.

  • Download the answer key according to the day and session the candidate appeared for
  • Candidates may compare their responses and raise challenges if required.

How to challenge the JEE Main 2021 answer key?

  • Visit the NTA JEE Main official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the link to ‘Objections against JEE answer key’
  • Candidates may select the code of questions and answer
  • They will also have to upload the relevant documents in support of their contention

The JEE Main Result for the 2021 February Session is expected to be announced on March 7.
