NIFT 2021 Admit Card released on nift.ac.in | Exam on February 14
National Institute of Fashion Technology has released the NIFT admit cards for the fashion entrance examination on its official website nift.ac.in. The candidates can access the admit card by logging into NIFT candidate portal. Here’s the direct link.
The NIFT exam 2021 will be conducted on February 14 in 32 cities in pen-and-paper mode at the designated examination centers. The NIFT candidates will have to carry along a COVID-19 negative report to the centers.

NIFT admit card will bear details including the candidate’s name, NIFT roll number, examination center, exam timings, and exam-day guidelines.
How to download NIFT Admit card:
Step 1: Visit the official website nift.ac.in
Step 2: Check the announcements tab and click on “Admit Card for written examination”
Step 3: Enter the NIFT application number, date of birth, and email ID. Then submit.
Step 4: The admit card will appear on the screen, download it.
NIFT 2021 entrance exam will be conducted for admission into 16 NIFT campuses offering various design courses. It is three-tiered in its format for Bachelor of Design and Master of Design course admissions. As part of the entrance test, candidates have to first appear for the Creative Ability Test (CAT) which is followed by a General Ability Test (GAT). The final admission round for the Bachelor of Design course is a Situation Test and for the Master of Design course is GD/PI round. On the other hand, for Bachelor of Fashion Technology course admissions candidates have to take the GAT exam only whereas for Master of Fashion Tech and MFM programs, candidates have to appear for GAT and GD/PI admission round. Both the exams will be conducted in offline mode. NIFT CAT will be a two-hour long paper and NIFT GAT will be a three-hour-long paper.
In 2020, around 23,000 students took the NIFT entrance exam to secure admission in UG and PG courses offered by the design school.
