NID MAINS STUDIO TEST ON 18TH JUNE

The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the NID Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT 2022) mains exam dates for the B.Des studio test. As per the latest notice released at admissions.nid.edu, the NID DAT 2022 mains exam will be held on June 18, from 9 am to 1 pm. Candidates who are eligible to appear for NID DAT mains 2022 are advised to download the NID DAT admit card for the B.Des mains exam from the official website

The NID DAT 2022 B.Des studio test shall be conducted in the following cities viz. Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata. Candidates will be provided with an interface to choose a mains exam centre of their choice between 4 pm, May 25, 2022, to 4 pm, May 27, 2022.

NID DAT B.Des 2022: Studio test seat available

The NID DAT 2022 mains test centre will have to be selected by the students themselves only. Allotment of the DAT mains exam centre will be on first-cum-first-serve basis. Students who fail to submit their test centre preference will be allotted the test centre automatically by the system based on the number of seats available at the respective DAT test centres. Admission cell-NID Ahmedabad has the right to assign any examination center.

NID DAT mains 2022: Important instructions

• It is mandatory for the students to appear for the studio test in order to qualify for the final stage of NID admission.

• Rescheduling of the NID DAT 2022 studio test or change in the test centre will not be entertained.

• NID DAT B.Des mains admit cards will be issued in the first week of June 2022.

• It is the candidate's sole responsibility to download and print the NID DAT mains admit card for the studio test.

• The students are also required to bring a hard copy of the NID DAT 2022 admit card along with the photo id proofs, as mentioned in the DAT admit card for the studio test.

• Only the candidates will be allowed entry into the NID examination campus. Friends/ relatives/ parents shall not be allowed to enter the NID campuses.

• Appearance to the NID 2022 mains or being listed for the next stage of the NID admissions process does not guarantee automatic entitlement to admissions.
