NEET 2023 Conducted On 7th May
National Testing Agency (NTA) yesterday (May 7) concluded the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023 examination. The medical entrance exam was successfully conducted from 2 pm till 5:20 pm today.
Now several experts will release unofficial answer keys. The NTA will also soon release the official answer key, which will be followed by the result. Once released, candidates will be able to check the answer key and result at the official NEET website.
A total of 20,87,449 candidates registered for NEET UG 2023. The exam was conducted in a total of 499 cities in India and abroad.
The Physics portion was entirely based on the NCERT syllabus with no questions beyond the NCERT syllabus, experts and students have analysed.
Chemistry was rated moderate on the difficulty level. The questions were based on NCERT statements, facts and graphs. Assertion-reason type questions were introduced in both sections, the questions required a clarity of concepts. The section was slightly lengthy and questions were based completely on NCERT. Questions are equally Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry
Physics was rated easy to moderate on the difficulty level, around 78 per cent of the paper had numericals. All questions were asked from NCERT. Section B was a little tricky
Botany and Zoology was rated as moderate on the difficulty level. In Botany most questions were lengthy and time consuming. Most questions were from NCERT with some questions being straightforward. In Zoology too, questions were lengthy and time consuming. Few questions were tricky. All questions were NCERT based. Questions from Human Physiology (Class 11)  and BioTechnology and Reproduction (Class 12) dominated the paper
