NCHM JEE exam postponed and registration extended till 20th June

As per the latest update, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the National Council for Hotel Management- Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE 2021). Candidates who are yet to register for the Hotel Management Entrance Examination can complete their application by 20th June 2021 via the official website i.e. nchmjee.nta.nic.in. Alternatively, candidates can also complete the registration process by logging onto the exam portal link that has been provided below for a convenient experience.

National Testing Agency, NTA has decided to postpone NCHM JEE 2021 examination. The examination was scheduled to be conducted on June 12, 2021, remains postponed to remove hardship caused to candidates due to COVID19 and to ensure larger participation of candidates in the exam. As per the official notice, the new exam date will be announced by the Agency in due course of time. The new date can be checked by all candidates on the official site of NCHM JEE.

Along with the postponement of the exam date, the Agency has also extended the registration date and other dates of NCHM JEE 2021 as well. The registration date has been extended to June 20, 2021. Candidates who want to apply for National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination can apply online.

The extension in the application timeline for the NCHM JEE 2021 has been made following various representations received from candidates about the same. The official circular in this regards mentions that “Representations are being received from candidates seeking extension of the last date for submission of online applications forms for the exam, on account of difficulties being experienced by them due to COVID 2019 and the disruptions caused by it.” The notice further adds that “With a view to remove hardship caused to candidates and to ensure larger participation of candidates, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of online application forms for the exam.”

Register for NCHM JEE 2021 Exam online

Like all other NTA-conducted entrance exams, the application process for NCHM JEE 2021 exam has also been made completely online. Candidates need to log onto the exam portal i.e. nchmjee.nta.nic.in and follow the simple step-by-step directions provided below to complete the registration process:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. nchmjee.nta.nic.in
  • Step 2: Scroll Down to the link for “Fill Registration Form NCHM JEE 2021”
  • Step 3: Click on New Registration Button and register yourself on the portal
  • Step 4: Log onto the portal using your login credentials
  • Step 5: Fill the application form with personal and academic details
  • Step 6: Upload scanned photograph and signature in prescribed format
  • Step 7: Pay the requisite examination fee and submit the form on the website
  • Step 8: Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference

Candidates should note that the application form fee for NCHM JEE 2021 is Rs 1000/- for General Category and Rs 450/- for Reserved category.
