NCHM JEE Exam conducted today in home-proctored more

NTA conducted the NCHMCT JEE exam today, August 19, from 2 to 5 pm. This year, the exam will be conducted as a home-proctored online test. The overall difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate as per the students. They found the Numerical Ability section difficult while English and other sections were easy.

NTA will soon be releasing the official NCHMCT exam answer keys 2021 on the official website. Using the answer key of NCHMCT JEE, the candidates will match their responses and calculate a probable score.

Every year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE). It is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission into the 3 years BSc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration courses provided by the various Central Government IHM, PSU IHM, State Government IHM, and Private IHMs or Institutes of Hotel Management.

The NCHM JEE Eligibility Criteria 2021 in detail are as follows: 

Age Limit

Category

Criteria

General and OBC

  • Upper age limit 25 years as on 01.07.2021.
  • Candidates must be born on or after July 01, 1996.

SC and ST

  • Upper age limit is 28 years as on 01.07.2021.
  • Candidates must be born on or after July 01, 1993.

Physically Challenged

  • The upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/EWS/SC/ST/OBC.
  • Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate shall be the authentic proof that will be accepted.

 

Nationality

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Qualification

  • Candidate must have passed or appearing in class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board.
  • The candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.

Physical Fitness

  • All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical claims as required in course at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner

 

QUALIFYING EXAMINATIONS FOR INDIAN STUDENTS:

  • Plus two level examinations in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
  • High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
  • Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
  • H.S.C. Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of the concerned state.
  • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects, result of which should be available up to 30.09.2020.

The NCHM JEE Result 2021 will be published online on the website: www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in. The Result will be declared online and can be viewed by the candidates in their personal Login on the above website.

The Candidates can view and download their NTA NCHM JEE 2021 Score Card by completing the following steps:

  • Visit the NCHM JEE Official Website: www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in
  • Click on View NTA Score Card.
  • Login via Application Number, Date of Birth and other required details.
  • View and Download the NCHM JEE NTA Score Card

The NCHM JEE Score Card 2021 will contain details like Application Number, Roll Number, All India Rank, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Marks Scored etc.

After the NCHM JEE Result 2021 is declared the NCHM Counselling Procedure 2021 will start for admissions in the 3 year BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration Course offered by the 74 participating Institutes.

The NCHM JEE Counselling Process 2021 or NCHM JEE Counselling and Admission Process 2021 in detail will be as follows:

Counselling Process Flow will be as per the following steps:

  1. Online Registration by all eligible candidates and updating of (Category, PwD status, Gender, and KM).
  2. Online choice filling and choice Locking.
  3. 1st Round of Seat Allotment.
  4. Online Seat Allotment Result view, uploading of documents and online Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee.
  5. Online Document Verification by Reporting Centre.
  6. Online Withdrawal of Allotted Seat (optional).
  7. Vacancy due to Non- Reporting / online Withdrawal/ Seat Cancellation.
  8. Online fresh Registration for 2nd and Final Round of Counselling.
  9. Online payment of 2nd round participation fee before Choice filling.
  10. Online choice filling and Choice locking.
  11. 2nd Round of Seat Allotment with Conversion of Seat as per rules.
  12. Online 2nd round Seat Allotment Result View, uploading of documents (only fresh allottee).
