JIPMAT 2021 Registration Started - Exam on June 20, Last Date to Apply April 30

JIPMAT stands for Joint Integrated Programme Management Aptitude Test. It will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to admit the students to the IPM course of IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya. IPM is a dual degree program in a way that it provides Bachelors’ as well as Masters’ degree in its integrated 5-year course. It is a program that also provides an opportunity for students to get into IIMs just after completing class 12th standard. The students, who want to pursue their career in Business Management, opt for this course.

This is the first time, JIPMAT will be conducted. The first JIPMAT will be conducted on June 20, 2021, in 78 cities. There will be a total of 60 seats for each institute plus 10 seats for females. 

Candidates will also be assessed based on their marks obtained in class 10th and 12th. The final list of merit will be prepared by putting together the marks obtained in written tests and academic profiles.

JIPMAT 2021 Exam Dates were announced by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. The JIPMAT Registration 2021 will commence from 01 April 2021. The last date to register for JIPMAT 2021 is April 30.

Applicants who wish to take the exam must check the JIPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2021 before applying online. It is important to check the eligibility in advance to avoid last-minute disqualification. 

  • The candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2019, 2020 or appearing in 2021.
  • The candidate must have passed Standard X/ SSC or equivalent examination in the year 2017 or later.
  • Students who have scored at least 60% in 10th and 12th standard (or equivalent) will be eligible for the test, although SC, ST, disabled and transgender students need only to have scored 55%.
  • Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of July 31st, 2021 can also apply.
  • Applicants pursuing their XII standard from international schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply.

Apart from Jammu and Bodh Gaya, IIMs in Ranchi and Indore also have IPM programs, but they have separate entrance tests for the same.
