JEE Main 2021 April & May session Registration begins | Last Date to apply 4th April

NTA has released the important information regarding JEE Main 2021 April and May registration on their official website www.jeemain.nta.nic.in. April (Session-3) will be conducted only for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.).

The candidates wishing to appear again for Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and/or 2B (B. Planning) will have the next opportunity to apply during the May session (Session-4) Application process

Note: A candidate has the option to apply for one Session or more than one Session (April /May 2021) together and pays the exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for one Session, he/she has to pay the Examination Fee only for that Session during the current application period and will have the opportunity to apply again for the remaining May Session.

The candidates who have applied earlier for April/May Session can modify their particulars (Session, Category, Subject, etc.) from 25 March to 4 April 2021.

Due to limited time, there will be no correction window available after the Application Form closes on 4 April 2021 (11:50 pm). Therefore the candidates have to be extremely careful.

 A candidate can also withdraw from April/May sessions by following the procedure detailed in the Application Form.

The Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and (jeemain.nta.nic.in)for the latest updates.

The application procedure comprises of various stages such as registration, filling application form, uploading scanned photo and signature, fee payment and final submission. Check the step-by-step process below:

  • Visit the official website www.jeemain.nta.nic.in 
  • Click on JEE Main 2021 application form link
  • Register yourself by providing the required details
  • Fill other details in the application form
  • Upload scanned photo and signature in the given format
  • Pay requisite fee online through credit card/ debit card/ net banking/Paytm/UPI
  • Submit the application form

Some important points regarding JEE Mains 2021:

  • Anyone who has cleared Class 12th with at least five subjects can attempt the JEE Main. Though the question paper is based on PCM, it is not necessary to have these as main subjects now. There is no upper age limit.
  • JEE (Main) 2021 Examination will be held in “Computer Based Test” (CBT) Mode only, except that the Drawing Test for B.Arch. will be held in “Pen & Paper” (offline) mode.
  • JEE Mains will be held in 13 languages from next year. These include English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.
