IGRUA 2022 Released Online Application Forms , Last Date to apply 18th May

IGRUA is a common entrance exam conducted by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademy (IGRUA) for admission in the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) course and B.Sc (Aviation) degree. Students who want to get admitted to Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi need to appear for the IGRUA entrance exam. Students who are going for the examination will have to appear for a written test which will be followed by the interview round. The written test will include questions from current affairs, English, mathematics and physics.

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Application Form 2022 will be released online on the IGRUA official website: www.igrua.gov.in.

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Application Form 2022 can be accessed from the IGRUA Official website from the link “IGRUA Entrance” displayed on the IGRUA Official website: www.igrua.gov.in .

The Application Fee for IGRUA Entrance Exam 2022 will be ₹12000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and there will be no fee charged from the SC & ST candidates.

It is to be paid either through internet banking, debit or credit cards or through Bank Challan payable at any branch of State Bank of India as per instructions for Fee Deposit.

Note :

i) In case SC/ST/EWS and OBC candidates do not qualify even after 5% relaxation in the Entrance Written test, the seats would be de-reserved for General Category.

ii) Candidates can also opt for B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree, being conducted simultaneously with CPL Course. Duration of this course will be 03 years.

iii) All Candidates must comply eligibility criteria by given date for Interview / Aptitude Test.

Medical: Selected candidates may join with class II medical, however they will have to clear & submit Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate subsequently. Please Click here for List of Centers/Doctors for Class-I & II medical available at DGCA Website

Training fee: Rs. 45 Lacs payable in four quarterly installments in one year. An additional expenditure of about Rs. 3 Lac towards the cost of Uniform, Study Material, Navigation Computer, Head Phones, etc. The training fee and other expenditure are same for all category candidates.

Boarding & Lodging: Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls. Messing and hostel accommodation within the campus (on twin sharing basis), is provided. (Charges approximately Rs. 12,000/- per month).

Selection: ONLINE Written Test, Viva/Interview and Pilot Aptitude Test in the following manner:-

• Written Test:

Examination Centers: Please check Options for centres. Option for three centers is to be made giving first, second and third choice. IGRUA reserves the right to cancel any Center if numbers of Applicants for the Center are inadequate.

Syllabus for Written Test: General English, Maths, Physics, Reasoning & Current Affairs (10+2 level objective type questions only and No negative marking)

Qualifying Marks in Written Test: The cutoff marks for SC/ST/EWS/OBC candidates will be 5% less from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category.

• Interview / Viva: All short listed Candidates will be required to produce following documents in original as well as one photocopy of each document at the time of interview (starting from 05 October 2021, Tuesday onwards)

(i) Proof of Date of Birth ( such as 10th Class certificate )

(ii) 10th Mark sheet

(iii) 10+2 Mark sheet

(iv) Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS Candidates issued within last one year.

(v) A Certificate from the competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to Creamy layer.

(vi) A Certificate from an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar that the candidate falls under EWS category.

(vii) Admit Card Downloaded for Written Test

• Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test:

- Only successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final selection.

- No relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/EWS/OBC Candidates in Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test.

• Commitment Money : All Selected Candidates including SC / ST / EWS / OBC will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 3 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total fee) by 13 December 2021 to secure their seat on first come first serve basis.

Before filling up Online Application Form, the Candidate should be ready with following:-

a) Recent Scanned Colored Photograph in JPG/JPEG format only ( file size 80KB max )

b) Scanned Signatures ( file size 80KB max )

c) A valid E-mail id and

d) Mobile Number E-Mail id and Mobile number should be kept active till declaration of the result. Important information during Entrance process will be conveyed on registered E-Mail / Mobile / website.

The selected candidate will be required to produce following documents in originals as well as xerox of each document at the time of interview.
