CLAT 2022 First Merit List Released Today

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) released the first CLAT merit list today June 30, 2022. Candidates who have registered for counselling will be considered for the first seat allotment. Following the allocation, clients can accept and reserve their seats or request an upgrade. They can also withdraw from the admissions process by selecting the exit option. CLAT 2022 was held on June 19, 2022, and the consortium released the results on June 24, 2022. CLAT 2022 scores will be accepted by 22 national law colleges for admission to 5-year LLB and LLM programs.

Following the release of the merit list, NLU will provide qualified students with three options. Students can then lock the seat or request an upgrade based on their preferences. Candidates may also choose to withdraw from the admissions process, but they will be ineligible to participate in subsequent rounds.

CLAT 2022: How to check seat allotment result

• Visit the official website of consortium – www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in

• Login using a registered mobile number and password

• Open the allotment status to know about the college allotted

Candidates may accept seats allotted in the first round of seat allocation. If candidates book their seats in the first seat allotment, they will be unable to participate in subsequent seat allotments. To reserve their seats, they must pay fees to the designated NLUs. CLAT 2022 was held on June 19, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The registration for counselling ended on January 27, and the varsity has prepared five provisional seat allotment lists.

 a) Accept the allotted seat

By selecting this option, you agree to accept the allotted seat. No further changes will be considered.Candidate will not be revised to his / her higher option, even if vacancy arises at a later stage.Candidate has to upload all the required documents on the website of Consortium and make payment of requisite fee to the allotted NLU. For details kindly visit the website of/contact the concerned NLU. Please do not call/email the CLAT helpdesk for any fee/document related questions. It has to be clarified from the respective NLU.

b) Apply for Revise

By selecting this option, you agree to accept the allotted seat and also apply for Revise option in the next list. Please note that you will not loose the allotted seat. You will either get a seat in an NLU which is above the current allotted NLU as in your preference, OR you will retain your current seat. Please note that Revise to a higher option is not guaranteed.

Candidates opting for Revise are also required to make the payment of requisite fee to the allotted University and upload documents on the website of Consortium. Only candidates who have paid the requisite fee and uploaded the documents on the website of Consortium will be considered for revision. A candidate who has been allotted a seat and has not paid the fee OR not uploaded the documents shall not be eligible for admission and revision option.

c) Exit from CLAT admission process

If any candidate chooses this option, he/she forfeits the claim for any seat allotment from the CLAT consortium. Candidate will lose the current allotted seat and will not be considered for allotment in the subsequent lists also. Please exercise caution in choosing this option.

You can change your option from Accept/Revise multiple times before the closure of 1st list. Requests to change your option after the closure date will not be entertained under any circumstances.

2 Upload your documents

Please contact the allotted university for information about the documents to upload and complete the same. After uploading all the required documents, click on the Submit button.

3 Make payment

Please contact the allotted university for fee payment details and complete the same. Please do not call/email CLAT helpdesk for fees related questions. This has to be clarified from the allotted NLU.

After the fee payment is completed, update the fee payment information in your CLAT account.Please complete your fees payment before 2nd July 2022, 9 PM. It is mandatory to update your payment information in your login account.

Requests for any updates after the close will strictly not be entertained
