The CLAT 2021 has been rescheduled to 13th June from the previous date of 9th May. The decision came from the executive committee meeting of the consortium of NLUs on 6th January in order to avoid the clashes with the 12th Board Examinations schedule declared last week by the education minister.

As the CBSE 10th and 12th Board Examinations are scheduled to be conducted between 4th May to 10th June, 2021. Many such decisions regarding the major entrance exams in India after 12th are expected in the future.

CLAT or Common Law Admission Test is conducted for admissions into the 5 year Integrated LLB and LLM courses offered at the 22 National Law Universities all across India. The application form for the same was released on 1st January. The only NLU that has its own entrance examination AILET or All India Law Entrance Test is NLU Delhi or National Law University Delhi. There are high chances that even AILET 2021 will be rescheduled from the previously announced date of 2nd May to a new date considering the schedule of the Board Examinations.
