BITSAT 2021 is being conducted from August 3-9, 2021. The first semester of Academic Year 2021-22 for newly admitted students is likely to start after September 14, 2021. The exact dates shall be notified through the website. All candidates are advised to refer to the website from time to time.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) has conducted the first day of the BITSAT 2021 Exam successfully in two shifts. According to the exam schedule, shift 1 was conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and shift 2 was held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

After the first exam on August 3, BITSAT will be conducted on 5 more consecutive days. The BITSAT 2021 exam is being conducted from August 3 to 9 as an online computer-based test (CBT). BITSAT 2021 exam will have four major sections includes physics, chemistry, English & logical reasoning, and mathematics.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test 2021 is a computer-based online test conducted by BITS, Pilani for admissions into the Integrated First Degree Programmes in Engineering, Science, and Pharmacy at its three campuses namely: BITS Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa.

‘Computer Based Online test’ means the candidate sits in front of a computer and the questions are presented on the computer monitor and the candidate answers the questions on the computer through the use of keyboard or mouse. Each computer is connected to a server, which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer. This is unlike the traditional paper-pencil-based test, which is generally offered on a single day to all candidates. BITSAT 2021 will be offered over a period of time and the candidate can choose the Centre, the Day and Time of his/her convenience to take the test.

At the completion of the test, the computer will announce the result to the candidate in terms of the number of total correct answers and wrong answers, with the score. The candidate can also check his or her score report at the BITS admission website on the next day of his or her test date. The candidate can also take a printout of his or her score report for any further usage. No student will be allowed to repeat the test in the same year.

The BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

BITSAT 2021 Important Points:

  • There is no time limit for individual parts of the test.
  • The candidates can go back and change any of his/her answers among the 150 questions.
  • If a candidate answers all the 150 questions (without skipping any question), the candidates will have an option of attempting 12 (twelve) extra questions, if there is still time left. These extra questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology only; four questions from each part. Further, once the candidates have opted for extra questions, he/she cannot go back for correction of any of the earlier answered 150 questions.
  • The scores will be immediately displayed after the examination is over to maintain transparency.
