National Law University, Delhi commence AILET 2022 Registration Process from today i.e. 17th January 2022. The application process for All India Law Entrance Test or AILET 2022 will be held in online format and candidates will be able to complete the same virtually via the official website or portal. Law aspirants seeking admission to various courses offered by NLU Delhi can register themselves to participate in AILET 2022 Law Entrance Exam by visiting portal www.nationallawuniversitydelhi.in . With registration process already underway, the exam session for All India Law Entrance Test is already underway. During this period, the exam authority will conduct different activities related to the exam and it is important for candidates to participate in the same as per the deadlines.

Like its previous sessions, the application and registration process for All India Law Entrance Test or AILET 2022 is being held in a completely online format. Candidates who are not familiar with the online registration process, can follow the step-wise guide provided below to complete the same without facing any problems

Step 1: Log onto the exam portal i.e. www.nationallawuniversitydelhi.in

Step 2: Locate and click on link for ‘New Registration’

Step 3: Register yourself on the portal by providing course, specify name, mobile number and email ID details

Step 4: Enter OTP – One Time Password, received, in the provided space

Step 5: Enter the security captcha code and select the declaration checkbox

Step 6: You will receive Candidate Application Number on your screen, please note it down

Step 7: Find and click on link for ‘Go to Application Form’

Step 8: Fill-in all the required details in the application form shown on the screen

Step 9: Upload a scanned copy of a recent passport-sized coloured photograph and signature

Step 10: Pay the necessary application fees as notified on the portal

Step 11: Verify all details and submit the application form on the website

Step 12: Download the submission confirmation page and save a softcopy of it on your device

Candidates should note that the AILET 2022 application fee for General Category candidates is Rs 3050/- while the same for SC, ST and PwD category candidates stands at Rs 1050/-.

The modified syllabus of AILET 2022 for B.A.LL.B.(Hons.)

Programme is as follows:

• The AILET 2022 for B.A.LL.B (Hons.) programme will have three (3) sections of 150 multiple choice questions for 150 marks in total. The duration of the examination is 90 minutes.The three sections will be:

Section A: English Language (50 questions; 50 marks).

Section B: Current Affairs & General Knowledge (30 questions; 30 marks).

Section C: Logical Reasoning (70 questions; 70 marks).

• Legal principles may be used in the logical reasoning section to test candidates understanding and familiarity of legal reasoning, but the examination will not require any prior knowledge of law or technical understanding of legal principles/ legal terms

• Negative marking: There will be Negative Marking in AILET 2022-23. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark

• If two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), their merit will be determined on the basis of higher marks in the section on LOGICAL REASONING in the AILET 2022.If the merit is still same, then the candidate senior in age shall get preference. If still there is no change in merit, then computerized draw of lots shall be taken into consideration
