AILET 2021 Counselling Procedure Begins

The counselling for admission of candidates to NLU Delhi is completely online.

a. The candidates are required to upload the following self-attested documents in serial order given below (in pdf format in one file) while registering for Online Counselling. Therefore candidates are advised to be ready with these documents by Thursday August 5, 2021:

b. Marks Statement of X and XII Class Examination or equivalent Examination.

c. Character Certificate from School / Institution last attended.

d. Valid category certificate (PwD/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ KM/ Resident of Jammu and Kashmir etc.) if applied under these categories. The OBC-Non-Creamy Layer certificate should be issued on or after 1st January 2021.

e. Any other supporting document to claim seat for the category you have applied.

  • Counselling Fee of ₹50,000/- to be paid through Digital Payment methods like Credit/ Debit Card, Net-banking, UPI, RTGS/NEFT
  • Candidates selected for provisional admission will be expected to pay ₹82,500/- as balance fee through Digital Payment methods like Credit/ Debit Card, Net-banking, UPI, RTGS/NEFT

STEPS TO VIEW RESULT AND PARTICIPATE IN THE ONLINE COUNSELLING:

 Step 1: Go to the Portal/interface http://nludelhi.admissionhelp.com/

 Login using the following combinations:

a) Roll No. OR Application No

 AND

b) Applicant's Date of Birth

 Step 2: Paying the Counselling Fee

a) Candidates shall login to their application account, click on Pay Counselling Fees. On the following page, they will have to upload relevant documents

b) Click on ‘Pay Now’. The candidate will be taken to the online payment gateway and will complete the transaction for Counselling Fee of ₹ 50000/.

After successful payment, an acknowledgment slip will be auto generated. The candidates are advised to keep a print out of acknowledgment slip for future reference.

After the Counselling, candidates selected for provisional admission shall be required to pay balance fee of ₹82,500/- through online mode via same Portal through which they have registered for the Online Counselling. After successful payment, an acknowledgment slip will be auto generated. The candidates are advised to keep a print out of acknowledgment slip for future reference.

Your admission is subject to the following conditions:

a) Candidate have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination thereto securing in the aggregate not less than 45% of the total marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability).

b) The candidate passed in compartment in the year of the admission, would be treated as ineligible.

The University will issue a category wise provisional merit list of only those candidates who have successfully completed the counselling registration and paid the counselling fee of ₹50000/- within stipulated time period. Registrationfor the counselling will not guarantee a seat.

If a candidate’s name is in the List of provisionally selected candidates, the candidate is required to pay the balance fee within stipulated time period failing which provisional admission offer will automatically stands cancelled & counselling fee paid will be forfeited. The balance fee shall be paid through the same portal/interface through the same login via which, candidates have registered for counselling. The University will also issue category wise waiting list of only those candidates who have registered for online counselling. In case any vacancy arises due to withdrawal of admission or non-payment of balance fee by the provisionally selected candidate within the stipulated time period, the seat shall be filled up from the waiting list candidates of concerned categories only in order of merit.

Requests for payment of fee after the last date will not be considered under any circumstance. Candidates are advised not to wait till last minute to make payments, to avoid payment related issues. NLU Delhi will not be responsible for any issues relating to payments. You must wait till you see a ‘Payment Successful’ message & acknowledgment slip generated. Requests to make payments after last date due to transaction failures or any other issues will not be considered under any circumstance.

The detailed fee structure payable by the candidate for academic year 2021-22 is attached as Annexure- I. The University will refund the counselling fee of only such candidates who have successfully registered for the counselling and paid the counselling fee but due to higher cut off could not find place in the provisional merit list of the respective categories for admission. The said refund will be initiated by the University after August 25, 2021 or on completion of admission process whichever is earlier. The counselling fee will be refunded/remitted to the same account from which it was paid. No requests of depositing it in any other account will be entertained.
