WBJEE 2021: The WBJEE 2021 or the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2021 will be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) Tentatively on the11th July 2021.

The WBJEE 2021 will be conducted for admissions in the 1st year of Undergraduate full time courses of Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy offered in the various colleges located in the territory of West Bengal who take admissions through WBJEE for these undergraduate courses.

The WBJEE 2021 will have two papers as follows:

Paper I: Mathematics and

Paper II: Physics and Chemistry (Combined)

Candidates who will appear in both Paper I and Paper II will be awarded General Merit Rank (GMR) and will be eligible for admissions in the Engineering/Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy courses in all Institutes.

Candidates who will appear only in Paper II will be awarded Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) and will be eligible for admissions only in the Pharmacy courses in all Institutes (Except Jadavpur University).

 

The Examination for both the papers will be conducted in the Offline Mode (OMR Based Examination).

WBJEE Application Form 2021: The WBJEE Application Form 2021 will be available online on the WBJEEB Official Website: www.wbjeeb.nic.in from the 23rd February, 2021 to 23rd March 2021.

 

The Application Form Fee for WBJEE 2021 will be as follows:

  • INR 500 for General Candidates
  • INR 400 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B Candidates

The WBJEE Application Form 2021 can be filled online by following the below-mentioned steps in detail:

  • Step 1: Online Registration-
    1. Visit the official website of WBJEE 2021 at www.wbjeeb.nic.in 
    2. Click on the link to ‘New Registration’
    3. Now enter the details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, type of identification and contact number.
    4. It may be noted that the details provided during WBJEE registration will not be subject to change easily, thus have to be carefully entered. These details should also match with the documents like marksheets, etc.
    5. After this, enter other contact details (address, district, state, PIN code, email ID, mobile number, etc.)
    6. The next step will require candidates to create a password and security question with the answer.
    7. Now preview the details provided during WBJEE registration and then click on ‘Submit’. After this, the candidate will receive an SMS on registered contact number as well as a mail on the registered email address containing the confirmation of registration and application number.

 

  • Step 2: Filling the WBJEE Application Form 2021 details:
    1. Candidates who logged out after WBJEE 2021 registration will have to login using their application number and password.
    2. Now they will have to fill in various personal details like category, domicile, religion, nationality, etc.
    3. Candidates will also have to opt three zones of cities to be allocated as WBJEE exam Centre.
    4. Now click on ‘Submit’

 

  • Step 3: Uploading Images-

 

Candidates will be required to upload scanned images of their recent photograph as well as signature in the WBJEE Application Form 2021.

  • Step 4: Payment of Application Fee-

After the uploading of documents candidates will have to proceed to the Payment of Application fee for WBJEE 2021.

 

The Application Form Fee for WBJEE 2021 will be as follows:

INR 500 for General Candidates

INR 400 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B Candidates

 

  • Step 5: Downloading and Printing the Confirmation Page-

Once all the steps are completed, candidates will be required to download the confirmation page that appears at the end of WBJEE application process. It may be noted that until the confirmation page is not generated, the WBJEE application is still not completed.

 

Correction in Image

Candidates have to be very careful and abide by the instructions provided for uploading the scanned images of photograph and signature. However, in case the image uploaded by the candidate is rejected by authorities due to any reasons, they will be intimated through SMS on their registered mobile number. Then, they will be required to login and upload the image again and it has to be ensured that they do not upload the same image in which the discrepancy occurred, or it will result in rejection of their WBJEE application form.

 

Correction in WBJEE Application Form 2021:

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) allows candidates to make corrections to certain details as provided by them in the WBJEE application form and contain some errors. The Board will open the WBJEE application correction window for a specified period of time which can be done in online mode. After this period gets over, candidates will not get a chance to make changes to the information provided by them in the WBJEE Application Form 2021.

Before filling the WBJEE Application Form 2021 the candidates must carefully read the WBJEE 2021 Information Brochure to know all the important details about WBJEE 2021 like Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Seat Information, Reservation criteria, etc.

Eligibility

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2021: The WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

  • There is no domicile requirement to appear in the WBJEE 2021.

 

  • However, the domicile requirement is applicable for admission to any government aided Engineering/Pharmacy/Technology colleges and Jadavpur University.

 

  • The domicile requirement is applicable for admission in any reserved category seat (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD, TFW) in any course in any institute.

 

  • If the certificate is then found to be invalid, the candidate will lose the opportunity of admission in institute.

Criteria to be treated as domicile of West Bengal:

 

Only those candidates will be treated as domicile of West Bengal who are either;

  • Residing in West Bengal continuously at least for 10 years as on 31 December, 2020.

                                                                    OR

  • Whose parents is/are permanent residents of West Bengal having permanent address within the state the state of West Bengal.

 

Age Limit  

  • Candidate should have completed 17 years on or before 31st December 2021. There is no upper age limit.
  • For to take admission into marine engineering course the lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2021 and the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.12.2021.

  • For SC/ST, relaxation in marks is 40%.

 

  • The board of the said qualifying exam must be recognized either by Central Government or State Government.

 
  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board with subject combination of PCM/PCB.

 

  • Must have obtained at least 45% in all the 3 subjects taken together.

 

  • Candidates must have passed English in +2 with at least 30% marks.

  2. Candidate should be score at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in together, individual pass marks and pass marks in English also with at least 30%.
  1. Candidate should be score at least 60% marks in Mathematics as mandatory.
  2. For SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, Pwd, marks relaxation is 15%.
  1. For Architecture Courses:
  1. Candidate must have passed class 10+2 in science stream in regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary or equivalent from any recognized board.
  1. Candidate should be score at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks  aggregate in class 12th.
  1. For SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, Pwd, marks relaxation is 13%.
  2. Candidate must qualify either in NATA conducted by Council of architecture, new Delhi or in paper – 2 of JEE Main Examination conducted by CBSE. The result of the above should be valid.

West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences:

B.Tech (Dairy Technology) Course

 

Age Limit

Candidate should not be less than 17 years as on 31 December in the year of application.

Nationality

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Domicile

Candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal.

Qualification
  • Candidate must qualify in the WBJEE Examination for Engineering/Technology Conducted by WBJEEB.
  • Candidate must have passed class 10+2 in science stream in regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary or equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Candidate must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the above four subjects in regular class mode.
  • Candidate must obtain atleast 50% marks in above four subjects.
  • For SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, Pwd, marks relaxation is 10%.

 

Neotia University

1). B.Tech course in Marine Engineering:

  1. Candidate should be score at least 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in together and pass marks in English with at least 50%.
  2. Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board.

     2). B.Pharma Course:

  1. Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and scored at least 60% marks in all the above three subjects taken together.

    3). B.Tech Course In other Engineering Branches:

  1. Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board with Physics, Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Application subject as compulsory subjects and scored at least 60% marks in all the above three subjects taken together.

Aliah University:

  1. Candidate must have taken Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry having at least 100 marks in total in each subjects of the following examination (10+2).
  2. Candidate has to secure at least 60% overall in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together in 12th level with individual pass marks in all three subjects in regular class mode.

Sister Nivedita University:

For admission in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering:

  1. Candidate should be score at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together with individual pass marks.
  2. Candidate should be score 50% marks in English also.

For admission in Computer Science and Business Systems (TCS-Industry Integrated)

  1. Candidate should be score at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 60% aggregate in class 12th also.

Five Year Degree Course in Architecture:

  • As per the norms and standards of the Council of Architecture (COA):
  1. No candidate shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/she have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of Examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 examination.
  1. Candidate must qualify either in NATA conducted by Council of architecture, new Delhi or in paper – 2 of JEE Mains.

The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

 

 

WBJEE Admit Card 2021:  The WBJEE Admit Card 2021 or WBJEE Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download tentatively from 06 July, 2021 to 11 july, 2021 on the official website of WBJEE: www.wbjeeb.nic.in .

Download the WBJEE Admit Card 2021 by following below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above-mentioned official website.
  • Click on the Download WBJEE Admit Card Link.
  • Enter the Application Number and Password.
  • Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.
  • Download and Print the WBJEE Admit Card 2021.

 

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

 

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions.

 

WBJEE Result 2021: The WBJEE Result 2021 will be published online on the WBJEE website: www.wbjeeb.nic.in .

To check the WBJEE Result 2021 follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Go to the official website i.e., www.wbjeeb.nic.in .
  • Enter the Application Number and Password
  • Result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and Print the WBJEE Result 2021 for further references.

Result will be published in the form of Rank Card which will contain all relevant ranks, total score and component score in entrance exam.

 

 

Merit List:

After the declaration of Result, two separate merit lists will be prepared are given below:

  1. General Merit Rank (GMR):
  • List of GMR shall be prepared based on the total score obtained in Paper I and Paper II taken together.
  • Separated reserved category merit position will also be indicated for respective category i.e., SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank, TFW Rank.
  • Admission to all courses in Jadavpur University shall be made on GMR only.
  • Counselling/allotment of seat/admission will be done on the basis on GMR only. Category ranks are only for information to candidates.

 

  1. Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR):
  • PMR will be prepared based on the score in Paper II i.e., Physics and Chemistry.
  • Separated reserved category merit position will also be indicated for respective category i.e., SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank, TFW Rank.
  • Admission to all Pharmacy courses except in Jadavpur University will be based on PMR only.

Tie Breaking for PMR:

Final Tie Breaking Rule for GMR and PMR:

  • If the tie still exists, then the date of Birth will be consider of the older one candidate.

Admission Counselling

WBJEE Counselling Procedure 2021:

The WBJEE Counselling Procedure 2021 will start after the WBJEE Result 2021 has been declared.

 

The WBJEE 2021 Counselling will be a web-based or e-counselling.

The WBJEE Counselling 2021 will be conducted on the WBJEEB official website: www.wbjeeb.nic.in .

 

The WBJEE Counselling Procedure 2021 in detail is as follows:

Step 1 - WBJEE Counselling 2021 Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to register for the WBJEE counselling 2021. Candidates have to make sure that all of the details submitted are correct since it cannot be edited after submission. It is to be noted that for all rounds of allotment, there is only one registration period. The given steps can be followed by the candidates to complete the registration process:

  • Visit the official website of WBJEE 2021 counselling
  • Click on the WBJEE counselling 2021 registration link
  • Candidates will have to click on “New Candidate Registration”.
  • Enter WBJEE roll number, candidate name, mothers name and date of birth and click on submit button.
  • Next, candidate have to provide their mobile number, email ID and create a password of their choice and click on "register" button to complete the registration.
  • Candidates will receive details of their registration number and password in their email address.

Step 2 - Filling the Counselling Application Form: Candidates have to provide details about their gender, nationality, domicile, religion, category and bank details. Next, candidates have to fill details of their class 10 and 12 educational marks and address.

Step 3- Uploading Documents: Candidates have to upload scanned images of their domicile certificate, class 10 and 12 mark sheet, proof of birth date (either class 10 mark sheet or birth certificate) and category certificate (if applicable). The documents uploaded will be verified online by the counselling authority and candidates will receive SMS regarding the same. If any document will be found incorrect, candidates will receive SMS to re-upload the same.

Step 4- Verify Details: At this step, candidates have to verify all the details submitted by them and also check the certificates uploaded. After verifying submit the application form.

Step 5 - Filling and Locking of Choices: Next, the WBJEE Counselling 2021 registered candidates will have to fill their choice of colleges and courses in online mode. The choices have to be selected in the order of preference. Editing and locking of the selected choices has to be done before the specified final date. If the candidates are unable to lock their choices before the final date then the system will automatically lock the last saved choices. A print out of the filled choices has to be taken out for future reference.

Step 6 - Seat Allotment: The authorities will allot seats to the WBJEE counselling 2021 registered candidates on the basis of their merit, selected preferences and availability of seats. Three rounds of seat allotment will be conducted by the authorities. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status after logging in using their credentials. To download the online seat allotment letter, the candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (e-challan of Allahabad Bank).

 

After the WBJEE Counselling Procedure 2021 is completed and the admissions to the Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture courses are completed through WBJEE and through JEE Main/JEE Main Paper 2/NATA etc. The classes for the first year of each courses will start at all the respective Institutes as per their schedule.
