VITEEE 2021:  The VITEEE 2021 or the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination 2021 will be conducted for admissions in the undergraduate Engineering courses after class 12^th or equivalent in all the VIT Campuses including VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Andhra Pradesh and VIT Bhopal respectively.

*The VITEEE 2020 was cancelled by the Vellore Institute of Technology or VIT due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic to avoid any rush and chances of spreading of the Virus. The Admissions in the year 2020 were granted on the basis of counselling done for students who applied for VIT Admissions on the basis of class 12^th / Pre University and other equivalent examinations and marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in those examinations. Candidates having a JEE Main Score were also given weightage. This year the examination is expected to happen and the candidates are advised to visit this page continuously for any further updates about VITEEE 2021.

The VITEEE 2021 will be conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology or VIT in a Computer based Test or CBT mode on multiple dates for which candidates can book their desired slot. The VITEEE 2021 will be conducted from 18^th June 2021 to 26^th June 2021 and the applications for the same are available now

VITEEE 2021 Key Points:

VITEEE Application Form 2021:  The VITEEE Application Form 2021 is available now and last date to apply 20th May 2021. The Application Form can be filled both online as well as Offline. The Application Form will be available online on the VIT official website: www.vit.ac.in and the Offline forms will be available at selected centres and post offices.

The Application Fee for VITEEE 2021 is as follows:

₹1150 for Online Application.

₹1050 for applying via mobile application.

US $50 for exam centres in abroad.

₹1250 for Offline Application.

The VITEEE Application Form 2021 can be filled in the Online Mode by following these steps:

Step 1 – Complete the VITEEE 2021 Online Registration

Visit the VITEEE 2021 Official website: www.vit.ac.in and click on the VITEEE Application 2021. Next the candidates are directed to the registration page. There, the candidates will have to enter:

• Name
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• Nationality
• Mobile Number
• Email ID

Note: Request for change in Mobile Number and Email ID will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Once the candidates are registered, they receive an email and SMS. In it, the Username and Password to login are mentioned.

Step 2 – Log in to fill up details in the online VITEEE Application Form 2021:

Next, the candidates will have to login by entering their Username and Password. The login is to be accessible for various purpose. Hence, keep the credentials safe.

Step 3 – Filling the VITEEE Application Form 2021

After login, the Online Application Form will open up.

The candidates then need to click on “Application Form” option, it is 4th on the tabs on left-hand side. Then, the VITEEE application form 2021 will open up. Fill the form with the details as asked.

On clicking the “save and next” button, the option to select the test city preference and course preference will open up. Candidates can select only one test city preference in the form.

Step 4 – Payment of VITEEE 2021 Application Fee

To move further, the candidate needs to select the payment option and then click on “Proceed to Pay” option.

Candidates can make payment through one of the following modes:

• Credit card
• Debit card
• Net banking
• Paytm

The online payment gateway lets you pay the fee amount through either credit card/debit card or net banking.

Step 5 – Uploading of Photograph and Signature

After the payment of the fee, the candidates need to upload photograph and signature in the VITEEE Application Form 2021. The candidates have to upload the images as per the specification as discussed above.

Step 6 – Submit the Application Form

After uploading images successfully, the application process ends. The candidates must download and save the application confirmation page. This may be required in the future.

The VITEEE Application Form 2021 can be filled in the Offline Mode by following these steps:

Step 1: Obtain the VITEEE 2021 OMR Application Form: The offline application form of VITEEE 2021 or VITEEE 2021 OMR Application form is expected to be available at designated post offices and campuses. List of these is as follows:

Step 2: Fill the VITEEE 2021 OMR Form or VITEEE Offline Application Form 2021: Once the candidates have bought the offline VITEEE application form 2021, they have to follow the steps below:

1: Fill the OMR VITEEE Application Form 2021 correctly and paste the photo wherever needed. The candidates also have to attach the documents needed with the application form.

2: Ensure that the correct Test City Code, Subject and the checklist on the envelope provided has been filled.

3: Send the filled-in VITEEE Application Form 2021 to the University by Registered Post or Speed Post.

Important Instructions to Fill the Offline VITEEE 2021 Form:

The candidates must check these important instructions to fill the offline application form:

• The OMR VITEEE application form 2021 is machine-processed. Hence, candidates must use only black ball-point pen and CAPITAL letters to write and only HB2 pencil to shade the circles.
• Do not damage the OMR sheet.
• Use glue to paste the photo in the form. Do not staple.

Check VITEEE 2021 Application Status:

VIT sends the candidates alert of their VITEEE application form 2021 submission once the form is submitted. The alert is sent via SMS on their registered mobile numbers. Candidates can also check the VITEEE Application status after the submission of their form on the portal by using the steps below

Step 1: Click on VITEEE Application Status 2021 link.

Step 2: Enter the 10 Digit Application Number and Verification Code.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

If the form has been submitted properly then the status is positive. Else, it clearly shows the status as pending.

VITEEE 2021 Application Form Correction:

The candidates can edit errors in the VIT Application Form 2021. The university opens the correction window for a limited period of time. This is a one-time opportunity. Once the deadline to make changes ends, the candidates are allowed to do any more changes. An application with incorrect details is not accepted so it is better than the candidates avail the facility to make corrections and ensure that their application form is error-free.

To make corrections in the VITEEE application form 2021 the students need to log in using their application number and password. Once they login they can check the VITEEE application form 2021 available in the editable format. They can make any changes in the form except for the below fields:

• Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• As per VIT Norms, Regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are also eligible for VITEEE. They should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.
• Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full Time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.

Subject Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination is eligible for all the B.Tech. Degree programmes.
• Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination is eligible only for B.Tech.
• Bio-stream Degree programmes as below:
• B.Tech. Bio-engineering (VIT-Bhopal)
• B.Tech. Biotechnology (VIT, Vellore)
• B.Tech. CSE with specialization in Bioinformatics (VIT, Vellore)
• B.Tech. ECE with specialization in Biomedical Engineering programmes. (VIT, Vellore)

VITEEE Admit Card 2021: For Admit card, student have to complete the OTBS process and OTBS Process will be available tentatively in the 1^st week of June on the Official Website: www.vit.ac.in . After Completion of OTBS Process, admit card will be available on the official website in the 1st or 2nd week of June

VITEEE Online Test Booking System (OTBS) 2021: Student can book a test slot from the above mentioned website.

Candidates can book an Exam Slot from the above website by following these steps:

• Open the Official Website www.vit.ac.in
• Enter the application number and password
• After logging in, candidate have to fill all the details
• Then book and confirm the slot within a 1 minute otherwise candidate may lose the option of exam center.

To Download the VITEEE Admit Card 2021 candidates need to follow the below steps:

• Open the Official Website www.vit.ac.in
• Visit the OTBS Link and Enter the Application Number and password.
• Click on the VITEEE Admit Card Link
• Then download the Admit Card

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Test location, Test time, Personal Details of the Candidate like Application Number and Name and other important information including the Instructions to be followed by the candidate.

VITEEE Result 2021: The VITEEE Result 2021 will be published online on the VITEEE website: www.vit.ac.in . The Result will be declared online and can be viewed by the candidates by entering the Application number and password.

VITEEE declared the All India Rank List and VITEEE Counselling Procedure will be done on the basis of rank obtained by the candidate for the Engineering Programs.

VITEEE Counselling Procedure 2021:

The VITEEE Counselling Procedure 2021 or VIT Counselling 2021 or VIT B. Tech. Online Admission Counselling 2021 will begin immediately after the VITEEE Result 2021 is declared by the VIT.

The VITEEE B. Tech. Online Admission Counselling 2021 or VIT Counselling 2021 will be solely based upon the Rank obtained by candidates in the VITEEE 2021.

The VITEEE B. Tech. Online Admission Counselling 2021 will take place on the VITEEE Counselling Official website: www.admissions.vit.ac.in/btech.

The VITEEE B. Tech. Online Admission Counselling 2021 will be conducted for the admissions in the B. Tech. courses offered at all the VIT campuses namely: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Vellore, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Chennai, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Andhra Pradesh and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Bhopal.

The VITEEE B. Tech Online Admission Counselling 2021 or VITEEE Counselling Procedure 2021 in detail is as follows:

• The VITEEE B. Tech. Online Admission Counselling 2021 will be conducted on the VITEEE Counselling website: www.admissions.vit.ac.in/btech . The Counselling will only be conducted in the online mode and on this website only.
• The VITEEE B. Tech Counselling 2021 will be solely conducted based upon the Ranks obtained by the candidates in VITEEE 2021.
• The VITEEE B. Tech Counselling 2021 will be conducted in total 4 phases and the students will be called for counselling as per their Ranks. The four phases of counselling were divided last year on the basis of Ranks as follows: Phase 1- Rank 1 to 20000, Phase 2 – Rank 20000 to 60000, Phase 3- Rank 60000 to 1 lakh and Phase 4- Ranks above 1 lakh (Eligible for only VIT AP and VIT Bhopal).
• The online VIT 2021 counselling will be accessible by students through their login credentials which will be mailed to their registered emails. A registration fee of Rs. 5000 has to be paid to participate in the B. Tech counselling.
• Choice filling of preferred VIT campuses along with the courses will be facilitated as per the counselling schedule of all 4 phases. All the candidates will be required to fill and submit their choices in two days. Thereafter B. Tech seat allotment will be announced.
• Candidates allotted seats will be given a three-day window to pay the advance admission fee which is 50% of the tuition fee. They can also pay the full fee if they wish to.
• Candidates whose board results are not announced before the deadline will be considered for admissions after the deadline.
  
  Classes will start as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Ministry of Education (MoE) guidelines.

After the VITEEE Counselling 2021 or VITEEE Counselling Procedure 2021 is completed and the candidates complete the remaining admissions procedure the new session of the first year of B.Tech. courses at the respective VIT campuses will start as per their schedule.
