RUHS Entrance Exam 2021: The RUHS Entrance Exam 2021 or the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Entrance Exam 2021 will be conducted by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences for admissions into the BSc. Nursing, BSc. Paramedical, B. Pharma and few other Allied Health Science courses offered at various Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy and other Health Science colleges located in the state of Rajasthan except National level Medical and Health Science colleges.

The RUHS Entrance Exam 2021 will be a 2 hours duration Online (Computer Based Test) each for Nursing, Paramedical and Pharmacy courses respectively of 100 Questions.

The RUHS Entrance Exam 2021 will be conducted tentatively in the 3rd or 4th week of June, 2021 and the application for the same will be available tentatively from the 1st week of March, 2021.

RUHS Entrance Exam Application Form 2021:  The RUHS Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 will be available online on the RUHS Official website: https://www.ruhsraj.org/.

The RUHS Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 will be available online tentatively from the 1st week of March, 2021 and is expected to be available till the Last week of April, 2021.

The Application Fee for RUHS Entrance Exam 2021 will be INR 500.

The RUHS Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 can be filled online by following these steps:

  • Step 1- Registration: Registration for New applicant- Kindly Register first with email id for username and password. If you do not have an email ID - either create a new email ID of your own or write email ID of your relative who can inform you about the receipt. Do not write email ID of a cyber cafe etc. after successful registration you will receive username and password in your registered email id. You can login using username and password & start filling Application Form.

Note: After Email ID registration, please check INBOX as well as SPAM folder of you’re an email account for username and password.

  • Step 2: Entering Academic Details- Provide your Secondary examination details i.e. board name, division, passing year, subjects, course duration and number of attempts. If you have CGPA Score, please fill % of marks after converting CGPA. Provide your 10+2 or Secondary examination details i.e. board name, passing year, course duration and number of attempts. Write the marks obtained and the maximum marks in each of the following science subjects as appearing in the mark sheet of 10+2 or an equivalent examination (if passed): Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
  • Step 3: Information regarding conduct / character certificate: Write name of institute last attended, Responsible Person Write name, designation (if any), address and mobile number of two responsible persons. Whether you have ever been penalized, removed or blacklisted, if yes then mention the section under which penalized and also mention the penalty: Yes/No If it is yes, enter mention the section under which penalized and also mention the penalty.

  • Step 4: Uploading Documents and Photograph- Upload your recent passport size colored photograph /signature in jpg/ jpeg format by selecting type of file one by one in the specified area. Your photograph and signature etc. will appear on screen and a message will appear on screen about successful uploading of documents.

If your photo/signature image etc. is appearing small or is not visible then it means your photo/signature etc. image file is not as per the prescribed format. Re-upload the same.

  • Step 5: Preview of application form: Please check all entries/details carefully provided by you in earlier steps. Click on “Previous” button to go back & make required correction. Click on “Submit & Proceed to Pay” to go to Payment Page. After that you will not able to change/update in application form.
  • Step 6: Payment and Form Downloading: Press “Proceed to Pay” for online fee payment. It will redirect you to payment gateway. If you want to pay registration amount through challan. Please click on "Click here to print E-Mitra Challan" button to take challan format print-out and pay at any E-Mitra kiosk.

After successful online fee payment, your application form will be submitted automatically. You will find a link to download or print your application form.

 

Sign the declaration on the printout of the application form. It is a must.

Put the thumb impressions at a specified place

Keep the completed application form for submission when required. You are not required to send to RUHS the print copy of your application form filled on-line.

You will be required to submit one print copy of the application form (duly completed in all respects) at the time of reporting at the allotted college.

Eligibility

RUHS Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021: The RUHS Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

RUHS Entrance Exam 2021 Eligibility Criteria: For Nursing

Particulars

Details

Age Limit

  • Candidate must have completed 17 years on or before 31st December, 2021.
  • For female, upper age limit is 28 years
  • For male, upper age limit is 25 years
  • Date of birth as recorded in the secondary education certificate will be treated as authentic.

Qualification

Candidate must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Minimum Marks Requirement

Candidate need to secure at least 45% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.

For SC/ST, marks relaxation is 5%.

 

Reservation:

  • The reservation is applicable in Govt. College of Nursing, Jaipur, Govt. self-financed nursing colleges and Private nursing colleges of Rajasthan State. The reservation of seats will be subject to statutory provisions enacted by State of Rajasthan.
  • 15% of the total seats will be filled up by the candidates on all India bases inclusive of Rajasthan and 16%, 12%, 21%, 5% and 10% of 15% by reserved for SC, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS respectively. The percentage of female candidates shall not fall below 50% of the total seats in all categories.
  • 85% of the total seats will be filled up by the Bonafide candidates of Rajasthan. The candidates must have studied for the last three years of the qualifying examination continuously as regular candidates recognized institution in Rajasthan.

OR

  • Natural Father/Mother of the candidates has continuously resided in Rajasthan for period of last 10 years and candidate has studied for at least 5 years in a recognized education institution in Rajasthan.

OR

  • The candidate is Son/Daughter of a serving of retired employee of
  • Government of Rajasthan including Officer of all India Service born on the State Cadre of Rajasthan.
  • Undertaking/Corporation / Improvement Trust Municipal Board/Panchayat Samities/Co-operative bodies duly constituted by Govt. of Rajasthan by an act of law.
  • any of the University in Rajasthan or Secondary Board of Education (Rajasthan) provided that employee has put in at least three years of service in the above bodies on the last date of or submission of application in the office for admission.

OR

  • Candidates is a Son/Daughter of permanent employee of Indian defense service and the employee is either of Rajasthan origin irrespective of his place of posting in Rajasthan at the time of last date of the application for admission provided that in case of Defense personnel from the employer to the effect that his state of origin is Rajasthan at the time of his entry into service.
  • 16% of the total seats are reserved for natural born candidates (not adopted) belonging to SC and notified in the Presidential order for the state of Rajasthan.
  • 12% of the total seats are reserved for natural born candidates (not adopted) belonging to ST as notified in the Presidential order for the state of Rajasthan
  • 21% of the total seals are reserved for natural born candidates (not adopted) belonging to OBC as notified in the Presidential order for the state of Rajasthan.
  • 5% of the total seats including the entire reserved and unreserved category are reserved for more backward caste (MBC) candidates.
  • 10% of the total seats including the entire reserved and unreserved category are reserved for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates.

 

Reservation and Relaxation Under Person with Disability (Pwd) Category:

  • 5% seats out of each category of 16% (SC), 12% (ST), 21% (OBC), 5% (MBC), 10% (EWS) and remaining unreserved category shall be further reserved on merit-cum-priority in each category horizontally for candidates with benchmark disabilities in accordance with the provisions of the right of Person with Disability (PwD) Act 2016.

 

RUHS Entrance Exam 2021 Eligibility Criteria: For Pharmacy

Qualification:

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University with English, Physics and Chemistry subjects along with Biology/Mathematics.
  • Candidate must have passed in each subject individually.

Reservation:

  • The reservation of seats will be made subject to statutory provisions of Govt. of Rajasthan for Rajasthan domicile candidates. Candidates belonging to reservation categories of states other than Rajasthan shall be allotted seats in the un-reserved category.
  • Candidates seeking benefit of reservation shall be required to produce for verification, at the time of reporting at the allotted college, the certificate (SC, ST, ST-STA OBC Non creamy layer, MBC Non creamy layer, EWS) or the additional category certificate (PwD, if applicable) issued by the competent authority and submit attested copies of the above documents.

 

RUHS Entrance Exam 2021 Eligibility Criteria: For Paramedical

Age limit

  • Candidate age should be at least 17 years on or before 31st December 2021.
  • Date of birth as recorded in the secondary education certificate will be treated as authentic.

Medical Fitness

  • Candidate need to submit the medical fitness certificate at the time of reporting to the allotted college on the prescribed form certified by a medical officer of the Government of Rajasthan as per the medical standards.

Qualification and Minimum Marks Requirement

Bachelor of Radiation Technology

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University.
  • Candidate need to secure at least 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.

B.Sc. (Medical Lab Technology)

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

 

Bachelor of Ophthalmic Techniques

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University.
  • Candidate need to secure at least 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics taken together.

 

 

Reservation:

  • The reservation of seats will be made subject to statutory provisions enacted by State of Rajasthan. Candidates belonging to reservation categories of states other than Rajasthan shall be allotted seats in the un-reserved category.
  • Candidates seeking benefit of reservation shall be required to produce the caste certificate (SC, ST, ST-STA, Non creamy layer OBC, Non creamy layer MBC) or the additional category certificate (PwD, WDP, if applicable) issued by the competent authority and submit attested copies of the above documents for verification, at the time of reporting at the allotted college.

The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

 

RUHS Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021:  The RUHS Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021 or RUHS Entrance Exam Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download in the 1st or 2nd week of October, 2021 on the official website of RUHS: www.ruhsraj.org .

Download the RUHS Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021 by following below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above-mentioned official website.
  • Click on the Download Admit Card.
  • Enter the Email ID and Password
  • Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.
  • Download and Print the RUHS Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021.

 

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions.

Admit card with relevant instructions shall not be sent by post and will be available for downloading at the RUHS website.

Important Instruction for Nursing:

  • The candidate is expected to take his/her seat at least Two Hours before commencement of the examination. Candidate coming after 15 minutes of the commencement of the examination will not be permitted to appear in the examination.
  • Candidate will be required to produce Admission Card with one ID before he/she is allowed to enter the examination center.
  • No Candidate will be allowed to carry any text material written or printed, bits of paper or any other material except the admission card inside the hall. Cellular/Mobile Phone/Pager/Calculator or any other electronic devices will not be permitted in the examination hall.
  • The University shall arrange for videography/photography of individual candidate for identification of the candidate. The candidates are required to keep their head in upright position and face the camera during this process so that their identity could be clearly established.
  • In order to prevent impersonation, left thumb impression shall also be obtained on a biometric machine during the conduct of examination. In case left thumb impression could not be registered on the machine due to injury or some other reason, right thumb impression or impression of any finger, in case other thumb is also injured, shall be registered on the machine.
  • No candidate will be allowed to go outside the examination hall till completion of the examination.

 

RUHS Entrance Exam Result 2021: The RUHS Entrance Exam Result 2021 will be published online on the RUHS Entrance Exam website: www.ruhsraj.org .

Check the RUHS Entrance Exam Result 2021 by following the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above-mentioned official website.
  • Click on the Result.
  • Enter the Application Number and Date of Birth.
  • Then, the result will be displayed on the screen in a pdf format.
  • Search by enter your roll number then download the result.

 

Tie Breaking Resolution for Nursing:

In case of tie position between two or more than two candidates, following steps in order be taken to resolve

  • One who has passed the 10+2 examination in less number of attempts will be given preference.
  • If there is further tie, the relative merit will be decided by the age of the candidates. The candidate of higher age (older candidate) will be placed on higher merit.
  • If there is further tie, candidate securing more marks in Secondary examination will be given preference.
  • If there is further tie, candidate securing more marks in Senior Secondary examination (10+2) or equivalent will be given preference.

Candidates securing equal score in the admission test will be admitted in the following order of preference:

  • One who has higher marks in 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
  • The candidate of higher age (older candidate).
  • One who has obtained higher marks in Secondary examination (10th) or its equivalent examination.

 

Tie Breaking Resolution for Paramedical:

Candidates securing equal score in the admission test will be admitted in the following order of preference:

  • One who has higher marks in Physics in the admission test
  • One who has higher marks in Chemistry in the admission test 
  • The candidate of higher age (older candidate)

Tie-Breaking Resolution for Bachelor of Physiotherapy:

Candidates securing equal marks in PCB in the qualifying examination or equal score in the admission test (if held) will be admitted in the following order of preference:

  • One who has higher total marks (of all subjects) in 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
  • The candidate of higher age (older candidate).
  • One who has obtained higher marks in Secondary examination (10th) or its equivalent examination.

Merit List: After the declaration of Result, merit list will be prepared on the score of the entrance examination.

Admission Counselling

RUHS Entrance Exam Counselling Procedure 2021: The RUHS Entrance Exam Counselling Procedure 2021 will be conducted on the basis of the Merit list of candidates prepared as per their score in RUHS Entrance Exam 2021 for each course: Pharmacy, Nursing and Paramedical Courses respectively.

 

The Seat Allotment will be done as per the candidate’s choice, rank in RUHS Entrance Exam and the category of the Candidate.

 

The RUHS Entrance Exam Counselling Procedure 2021 in detail will be as follows:

Step1: Choice Filling:-

  • Candidates must log in  on RUHS official website with their login credentials (Provided when the application form is filled in)
  • After that, candidates have to pay an amount which will be told by the authorities after the declaration of result to participate in the counselling process
  • After successful paying the counselling fee, the candidate will then have to fill their choices as he/she desires (College & Course) from the available choice list. 

Step 2: Seat Allotment:-

  • Seat allocation will be made based on the merit list, candidate category, seat matrix & seat allocation rules provided by RUHS, and choices filled by the candidate.
  • Candidate can view/print their allotment result by clicking on the Seat Allotment Result button in their login. 

Step 3: Reporting:-

  • In the given time duration, the candidates will report to the allocated institute along with all the required documents as asked.
  • Document verification shall be done by the college at the time of reporting.
  • If the documents are not valid then the candidature for admission will be cancelled.
  • Only after successful Reporting and Joining at the Allotted College, the candidate may change his Willingness to Participate in Second Round up-counselling.
  • By default, the willingness to take part in the second counselling is YES, i.e. if the candidate does not exercise this option, he/she will automatically be considered in the second round for upgrading the seat according to his / her choices and merit.
  • If the candidate does not want to take part in the second counselling, he/she must change the willingness to take part in the second round to NO.

Step 4: 2nd Round of Counselling

Second Round of Counselling/ Seat Allotment will be made for the following candidates:-

  • In the first round, candidates who filled out choices but were not allocated any seat.
  • Candidates who received a seat in the first round successfully at the allotted college and opted to take part in the second round for the up-gradation of seats.   
  • Candidates who were assigned a seat in the first round and reported to the assigned college, but their documents were not verified due to some inconsistency, And the Council for Admission in Nursing Courses (CBANC) RUHS recommended that the participants should appear in the second round of counselling.

Step 5: Reporting

  • In the given time duration, the candidates will report to the allotted institute along with all required documents as indicated in the information booklet.
  • Document verification will be done by the College Reporting Officer at the time of reporting, and appropriate entries will be made for each candidate on the portal through his / her login.

After the RUHS Entrance Exam Counselling Procedure 2021 is completed and the admissions into the Pharmacy, Paramedical and Nursing courses is completed in all the participating colleges. The classes for the first year of the new session will begin at every college as per their respective schedule.
