PU CET 2021: The PU CET 2021 or the Panjab University Common Entrance Test 2021 will be conducted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh for admissions into the B.Sc. (Hons.) under the framework of Hons. School System (CBCS) and B. Pharmacy at Panjab University Campus, Chandigarh.
The PU CET 2021 (U.G.) will be conducted tentatively in the 2nd week of June, 2021 and the Application Form for the same will be available online tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2021.
The PU CET 2021 (U.G.) will be conducted offline and there will be four papers of 70 minutes duration each as follows: Paper I- Mathematics, Paper II- Chemistry, Paper III- Physics and Paper IV- Biology. Each Paper will have 60 questions each and the examination paper will be only in the English Language.
The candidate will be required to choose a suitable combination of subjects depending on his/her choice of the course(s) and subjects he/she has studied in 10 +2 or its equivalent examination. Combinations are PCB / PCM / M.
Note:
1. If a candidate appears in 4 subjects, his/her name will be included in the entire Merit List. For example, if a candidate appears in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, his/her name will be included in all the Merit Lists wherever he/she qualifies.
2. Candidates who is seeking admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) under the framework of Hons. School System (CBCS)Mathematics only may appear in Mathematics only.
*Please Note: I.N.M.O. (Indian National Mathematical Olympiad) Awardees can join B.Sc. (Hons.) under the framework of Hons. School System (CBCS)Department of Mathematics, without appearing in the PU – CET (U.G.) Entrance Test and these seats are additional over and above the sanctioned seats.

For the B.Sc. (Hons.) under the framework of Hons. School System (CBCS)and B. Pharmacy admissions, the final merit will be prepared on the basis of merit consisting of three components

The Provisional Merit List will be declared for each category based upon the above calculations and the objections raised in the tentative merit list are cleared. The Admissions into the B.Pharm Course and the various B.Sc. and BSc. (Hons.) courses in the different departments will be done based on the provisional merit lists for each of these courses.
The admissions will be completed once the students selected in the provisional merit list for each course deposit the Admission fee and complete all the required documentation and the relevant formalities.
After the PU CET Counselling Procedure 2021 or the PU CET (U.G.) Admission Process 2021 is completed and the admissions for the B.Pharm and the various BSc. and BSc. (Hons) courses will be completed the classes for the new session of the first year will start as per their respective schedule.
