PU BA BCOM LLB Entrance Test 2021:  The PU BA/BCOM LLB Entrance Test 2021 or the Panjab University BA/BCOM LLB Entrance Test 2021 will be conducted by the Panjab University as a common entrance test for admissions into the 5 years Integrated BA/B.Com(Hons.) LLB course offered at its 3 participating institutes as follows:

  • University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
  • University Institute of Laws, Panjab University Regional Centre Civil Lines, Ludhiana.
  • University Institute of Legal Studies, Swami Sarvanand Giri, PU Regional Centre, Bajwara, Hoshiarpur.

Considering the COVID-19 situation, the Panjab University had scrapped the entrance test in 2020 and the admissions were based on 10+2 examination result. This year it is expected that the Entrance Test will be conducted, the students are requested to follow this page for any further updates.

The PU BA/BCOM LLB Entrance Test 2021 is expected to be conducted tentatively in the 4th week of June, 2021 and the Application Form for the same will be available tentatively from the 1st week of March, 2021.

The PU BA/BCOM LLB Entrance Test 2021 will be a 90 minutes duration Entrance Test having 100 questions of Objective Type. The Entrance Test will be conducted in English, Hindi and Punjabi Languages (Except for the Portion: “Proficiency in English Language”).

PU BA BCOM LLB Entrance Test Application Form 2021:  The PU BA BCOM LLB Entrance Test Application Form 2021 will be available online tentatively from the 1st week of March, 2021 and will be available online till the end of March, 2021.

The Application Form will only be available in the Online Mode for Registration.

The Application Fee for PU BA BCOM LLB Entrance Test 2021 will be as follows:

  • INR 2175 for General Category Candidates.
  • INR 1088 for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.

Steps to follow:

  1. Register Online.
  2. Note down your Login ID and Password.
  3. Download Bank Challan and deposit fee in any branch of State Bank of India after 24 hours of generation of Login ID and Password.
  4. After depositing fee, Login again after 24 hours and upload scanned photograph, signature, fill other important information, Save and Confirm.
  5. Download your Admit Card, bring a one Photo Identity Proof like Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport etc at the Examination centre failing which the candidate will not be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall.

NOTE: If more than 24 Hrs. have passed after depositing the fee in bank and your fee is not confirmed in your account at http://uglaw.puchd.ac.in, send an email to [email protected] with a scanned copy of Bank Challan. Candidates who are to avail the concession in Entrance Test Form Fee under the category SC/ST/PwD, they are required to send the self-attested copy of category certificate along with a printout of Entrance Test Form to Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014 by registered post/speed post or by hand

Class B/C Regular Employee of PU must send the copy of the printout of their Entrance Test Form along with Performa for claiming 50% concession to P.U. Regular Employees ("B" and "C" Class) duly signed by Head/Chairperson, to Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014 by registered post/speed post or by hand.

Qualification:

  1. Any candidate who has already passed or appearing in March 2020 in the 10+2 Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council shall be eligible to appear in the Entrance Test.
  2. Candidate should be score at least 50% in their class 12th.
  3. For SC/ST/PwD/BC, marks relaxation is 5%.

 

 

NOTE:

  • A candidate who has passed/appeared in 10+2 Examination of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad is ineligible to appear in the Entrance Test, as this institution has been de-recognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
  • The examination which is conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi, is not included in the booklet of recognised exams.

Admission Counselling

PU BA BCOM LLB Entrance Test Counselling Procedure 2021:  The PU BA BCOM LLB Entrance Test Counselling Procedure 2021 or the PU BA/BCOM LLB Admission Process 2021 will start after the declaration of the Merit list prepared after the declaration of the PU BA BCom LLB Entrance Test Result 2021.

 

The Merit Lists will be prepared for each course: BA LLB and B.Com (Hons) LLB for each category as follows:

  • Merit is calculated taking 50% of the class +2 %age including weightages (if any) and 50% of the UGLAW Entrance Test marks.
  • Calculation for 10+2 %age (50%)
    • For B.A./B.Com LL.B. Merit is to be determined on the basis of score for which the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination. The percentage should be worked out to the advantage of student. Where a student has appeared in more papers than the number of papers required to qualify the examination, best marks should be taken.
