NCHM JEE 2022:  The NCHM JEE 2022 or National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination will be conducted by the NTA or National Testing Agency for admissions into the 3 years BSc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration courses provided by the various Central Government IHM, PSU IHM, State Government IHM, and Private IHMs or Institutes of Hotel Management.

NCHM JEE 2022 will be conducted on 28th May 2022 online and the application for the same is available on the official website

This is the biggest entrance examination for Hospitality and Hotel Management courses in India as almost all the top Hotel Management Colleges in India take admissions into their Undergraduate Hotel Management Courses via this entrance examination.

The Examination is also popularly known as NCHMCT JEE since it is conducted under the guidance of the NCHMCT or National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology which is the governing body that regulates the Hospitality and Tourism courses in India.

NCHM JEE Application Form 2022:   The NCHM JEE Application Form is available online for registration from 04 February 2022 to 03 May 2022. It is available online on the NCHM JEE 2022 official website: www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in

The Application Fees for the NCHM JEE 2022 will be as follows:

₹1000 for General and OBC candidates,

₹700 for EWS candidates and

₹450 for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender Candidates.

The following steps are required for completing the Online Registration for the NCHM JEE Application Form 2022:

  • Apply for Online Registration
  • Fill the Online Application Form
  • Upload Scanned Photo and Signature
  • Pay Examination Fee
  • Choose Examination City

NCHM JEE Application Form 2022 online registration process in detail is as follows:

Step-1: Registration:

Candidates can Register for an online application form by visiting the NCHM JEE Official Website: www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in and Click on “Apply Now”. Once they reach the Online Application Form Page Click on Register Now to Register Online and note down the system generated application number. The candidate should enter the required details while filling the online Application Form and is also required to create a password and choose a security question and enter his/her answer.

After successful submission of the personal details, an application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining steps of the application form and will also be required for all future correspondence.

Step 2: Log in to fill NCHM JEE Application Form 2022:

Log in by using the application number and password and then start filling NCHM JEE 2022 application form.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form for NCHM JEE 2022:

In this step of the NCHM JEE Application Form, fill all the personal, academic, and contact details. Candidates have to select the details from the drop-down menu for the following:

Personal Details:

  • Select state of residence
  • Category
  • Person with disability
  • Nationality
  • Are you a Kashmiri migrant?
  • Place of class 12th / Qualifying Examination Board
  • Whether English is one of the compulsory subjects in Class 12th?

  • Choice of examination center. Candidates can select at least four cities from the list of NCHM JEE exam centers in 2022

Academic Qualification Details

Students have to enter details related to 10th or equivalent and 12th or equivalent from the drop-down menu in the application form of NCHM JEE 2022

Security Pin

Enter the security pin and click on the 'Submit' button. Next, candidates will receive a pop-up message where they will be asked to review and tick against the information given below. If they need to modify any information, they can do so by clicking on ' Edit Application Form Data,' or click on the 'Final Submit' button for final submission.

Tick against 'I Agree' and then click on the 'Final Submit' button. Students again get a message 'Do you wish to Submit the Application form finally? Press 'Yes' to submit the application form.

Step 4: Upload scanned images of the candidate photograph and candidate signature.

1. Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format.

2. Size of the scanned photograph should be between 10kb to 200 kb.

3. Size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

4. The photograph should be colored or black/white (but clear contrast)

Step 5: Make the payment

The candidate will have to select from the following list of options to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of a fee.

Step 6: Take the print out of the application form of NCHM JEE 2022:

Candidates have to take the printout of the NCHM JEE application form 2022 and keep it safe for their future reference.

Step 7: Choose the city for giving the examination NCHM JEE 2022

Removal of Image Discrepancies in NCHM JEE Application Form:

In case the candidates have uploaded a wrong size image or the image which is not according to the specifications as mentioned in the application form of NCHM JEE 2022, they can correct it.

Steps to remove any image discrepancy are given below:

Step 1 - Visit the official website of NCHM JEE (www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in).

Step 2 - Click on the tab flashing "Remove image discrepancy in the application form"

Step 3 - You will be directed to a registration form page.

Step 4 - Enter your application number and the password you entered at the time of filling the form.

Step 5 - Enter the security pin and sign in.

Step 6 - Candidates will be directed to a page where they can click on the tab of remove image discrepancy.

Step 7 - Upload the correct image and save.

Eligibility

NCHM JEE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2022: The NCHM JEE Eligibility Criteria 2022 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfil a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

 

The NCHM JEE Eligibility Criteria 2022 in detail are as follows:

Nationality

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Qualification

  • Candidate must have passed or appearing in class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.

Physical Fitness

  • All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical claims as required in course at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner

 

QUALIFYING EXAMINATIONS FOR INDIAN STUDENTS:

  • Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
  • High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
  • Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
  • H.S.C. Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of the concerned state.
  • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects, result of which should be available up to 30.09.2020.

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

After the NCHM JEE Result 2022 is declared the counselling procedure for the admissions in the NCHM JEE Participating Colleges 2022 will be done on the basis of All India Rank obtained in NCHM JEE 2022.

NCHM JEE Admit Card 2022: The NCHM JEE Admit Card 2022 will be available for download tentatively in the 1st or 2nd week of May 2022 on the official website: www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in .

The NCHM JEE Admit Card 2022 can be downloaded from the above website by the candidates by logging into his/her account using the login credentials.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same, the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

 

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Application Number, Date of Birth, Roll Number etc.

 

NCHM JEE Result 2022: The NCHM JEE Result 2022 will be published online on the website: www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in . The Result will be declared online and can be viewed by the candidates in their personal Login on the above website.

The Candidates can view and download their NTA NCHM JEE 2022 Score Card by completing the following steps:

  • Visit the NCHM JEE Official Website: www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in
  • Click on View NTA Score Card.
  • Login via Application Number, Date of Birth and other required details.
  • View and Download the NCHM JEE NTA Score Card

The NCHM JEE Score Card 2022 will contain details like Application Number, Roll Number, All India Rank, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Marks Scored etc.

After the NCHM JEE Result 2022 is declared the NCHM Counselling Procedure 2022 will start for admissions in the 3 year BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration Course offered by the 74 participating Institutes.

Admission Counselling

NCHM JEE Counselling Procedure 2022:  The NCHM JEE Counselling Procedure 2022 will be conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology or NCHMCT on its official counselling website: www.nchmcounselling.nic.in . The NCHM JEE Counselling Procedure 2022 will start immediately after the NCHM JEE Result 2022 is declared by the NTA on the NCHM JEE official website: www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in .  

The NCHM JEE 2022 Counselling Process will be completely online and will be conducted in Two Rounds of counselling to finish the seat allotment in the participating Central, PSU, State and Private IHMs or Institutes of Hotel Management. The Candidates will be allotted seats of their choice as per their All India Rank in NCHM JEE 2022 and their respective category.

 

The NCHM JEE Counselling Process 2022 or NCHM JEE Counselling and Admission Process 2022 in detail will be as follows:

Counselling Process Flow will be as per the following steps:

  1. Online Registration by all eligible candidate and updating of (Category, PwD status, Gender and KM).
  2. Online choice filling and choice Locking.
  3. 1st Round of Seat Allotment.
  4. Online Seat Allotment Result view, uploading of documents and online Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee.
  5. Online Document Verification by Reporting Centre.
  6. Online Withdrawal of Allotted Seat (optional).
  7. Vacancy due to Non- Reporting / online Withdrawal/ Seat Cancellation.
  8. Online fresh Registration for 2nd and Final Round of Counselling.
  9. Online payment of 2nd round participation fee before Choice filling.
  10. Online choice filling and Choice locking.
  11. 2nd Round of Seat Allotment with Conversion of Seat as per rules.
  12. Online 2nd round Seat Allotment Result View, uploading of documents (only fresh allottee).
  13. Online Document Verification by Reporting Centres (only fresh allottee).

  • Online Registration for 1st Round of Counselling:
  1. Online Registration is mandatory for all eligible candidates to be considered for seat allotment in the 1st round of Counselling. Eligible candidates are required to register ONLINE through Internet (http://www.nchmcounslling.nic.in) from places convenient to them during the specified period. The procedure to be followed is described here.
  2. Access the website www.nchmcounslling.nic.in and click on online Registration and choice filling.
  • Generate Password for Login:
  1. New candidates are required to first generate password by clicking on Generate Password for Login link.
  2. Candidates are required to enter the information (as indicated in the NCHM JEE result) against the following fields:
  3. Roll Number, Application Number, Candidates Name and Date of Birth
  4. Candidates will be permitted to proceed with the registration process, only if these data entered by them match the data as available with the NCHM JEE Result database. The candidates will be required to choose password and security question and their answer.
  5. After generating the password candidates can login anytime later on by using their roll number as Login Id and the password that they created during registration.
  6. Once the Candidates Login their Personal Details as per the NCHM JEE Result 2022 will be displayed. Candidates must verify these personal details.

 

  • Online choice filling for 1st round of Counselling:
  1. At this stage, all the registered candidates are required to exercise their choices of institutes in order of their preference.
  2. The procedure for exercising choices and seeking pertinent information is guided through appropriate messages and tables on the computer screen.
  3. As per the eligibility of the candidate, choice of institutions will be displayed.
  4. Candidates can fill in as many numbers of choices in the order or preference from the list of available institutes.
  5. Candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices and number of times until they lock their final choices. Choices should be positively locked before 5.00 p.m. of Last Date.

 

  • Locking of Choices:
  1. Candidates MUST lock their choices only after they have finalized them but, in any case, before 5.00 p.m. of Last Date. The locking of choices involves a few steps after the LOCK button is clicked. This includes entering the password, confirming the locking, etc. Candidate should follow all the steps carefully to complete the locking procedure.
  2. After the choices are locked, candidates will not be able to change their choices any further. A printable version of the choices along with the terms and conditions agreed by the candidate at the time of registration is displayed once the choices are locked. Candidates must take a print out (hard copy) of the locked choices, (which also contains terms and conditions) sign it and produce it at the time of reporting to the Reporting Center.
  3. If candidates fail to explicitly lock their choices by 5.00 p.m. of Last Date, their last saved choices will be automatically locked after this deadline. Candidates are therefore strongly advised to lock their choices themselves and secure a printout of these locked choices. Registered candidates who do not exercise any choices or fail to save them will not be considered for seat allotment. Candidates can login again after locking the choices, the locked choices will be displayed but cannot now be modified or altered.

 

  • 1st round of seat allotment:
    1. The choices finally submitted an locked by the candidates or system locked in this round would be processed centrally as per the Seat Allotment Algorithm mentioned in the next section of this document and seats are allotted in the order of merit as per AIR and also on the basis of applicable reservation criteria.
    2. The allotment result would be published on the counselling website. There is no provision of sending individual allotment letters to the candidates by post.
    3. However, candidates may take a printout of the allotment details from NCHM counselling website.
    4. Candidates who are allotted seat will have to submit willingness, upload required documents and pay the seat acceptance fee online. If document verification officer raises any query during document verification, candidates are required to respond the query and upload the desired document within stipulated time. If candidate do not pay seat acceptance fee or do not respond the query (if query raised), he/she will be treated as not reported candidate and their allotted seat will be cancelled. However, such candidates will be eligible to participate in the 2nd (Final) round counselling.

 

  • 2nd and Final round of Counselling Process:
  1. All eligible candidates including absentees of the main counselling are eligible for 2nd and Final Round of Counselling.
  2. Candidates who desire to participate in the 2nd and Final Round should logged-in to portal and complete the following activities:
    1. Online Registration for 2nd and Final Round counselling: Process will be exactly same as explained for main counselling.
    2. Online Payment of participation fee for 2nd and final round of an amount of Rs.40,000/- through HDFC EPG services. Payment of 2nd and Final Round participation fee will be mandatory for all candidates except those candidates who have deposited fee earlier.
    3. Online Choice filling and Locking of choices from anywhere. For all provisionally admitted candidates, if they desired to participate in the 2nd and Final Round then during choice filling it is mandatory to have previous allotted institute as one of the filled choices at any position in the 2nd and Final Round of choices. During choice submission, all the choices will be shown to the candidate irrespective whether seat is available or not because during processing few virtual vacancies may arise.
    4. Seat Allotment and Result Publishing:
      1. Choices of all such candidates who have completed above steps (a,b & c) will be processed as per business rules.
      2. Last allotted choice (institute and Branch) of all successfully reported candidates of round 1 who have not participated in the 2nd and final round of counselling will also be processed for category upgradation.
      3. Conversion of Seat will be applicable in the 2nd and final Round of seat allotment as per conversion rules.
  3. Result publishing and document uploading:
    1. Candidate can login and view the result. Previous round allotted candidates download their revised allotment letter.
    2. Those candidates who have been allotted 1st time in this round and required to complete the following activities.
    3. View Seat Allotment Result
    4. Upload Scanned Documents
  4. Online document verification by Reporting Centre same as in after Round 1.
  5. Candidate whose seat cancelled during online document verification and allotted fresh seat in the 2nd round. Such candidates will be considered as ‘auto reported’.

 

  • Physical Reporting at final Allotted Institute after 2nd and Final Round:
    1. All candidates who have taken provisional admission in 1st & 2nd round of seat allotments, will have to report finally at the Allotted Institution as per the schedule.
    2. At the time of Physical Reporting, all the candidates are required to submit their preference against the Hostel requirement.
    3. All Participating Institutions login into the portal and must update online reporting status and Hostel preferences.
  • Hostel Allotment:
    1. The hostel will be allotted centrally purely based on AIR after Final round of counselling and only for that candidate who has physically reported at the allotted institute and submitted hostel required as ‘YES’.
  • Withdrawal of Allotted Seats and Refund Rule: Candidates can withdraw from the allotted seat after the first round of Counselling during the specified period and they will be entitled to refund as per refund policy 2022.

After the NCHM JEE Counselling and Admission Process 2022 is completed the new session at the respective institutes starts at their respective campuses.
