MAH B.HMCT CET 2021:  The MAH B.HMCT 2021 or the Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Common Entrance Test 2021 will be conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell.

The MAH BHMCT CET 2021 will be conducted tentatively in the 2nd week of June, 2021 and the Application Form for the same will be released online tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2021 on the website: www.mahacet.org .

 

The MAH BHMCT CET will be conducted as an Online Computer Based Test of 90 minutes duration. The Questions asked will be Objective type with four options of answers in each question and there will be no negative marking.

MAH BHMCT CET Application Form 2021:  The MAH BHMCT CET Application Form 2021 will be available online tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2021 on the website: www.mahacet.org .

The MAH BHMCT CET Application Form 2021 will be available for registration only in the Online Mode. The Application Form will be available online for registration tentatively till the 3rd or 4th week of March, 2021.

The Application Form Fee for MAH BHMCT CET 2021 will be as follows:

  • INR 800 For Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates.
  • INR 600 For Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, SEBC and EWS] & Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.

The MAH BHMCT CET Application Form 2021 can be filled online by following the below mentioned steps:

  1. Candidates go to the www.mahacet.org  website and click on the option "MAH-B.HMCT-CET 2021" which will open a new screen. or Candidates go to the http://ibps.sifyitest.com/cetbhmctja21/  
  2. To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
  3. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the "SAVE AND NEXT" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.
  4. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
  5. The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature for CET & Admission.
  6. Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next' button.
  7. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature.
  8. Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
  9. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
  10. Modify details, if required, and click on 'FINAL SUBMIT' ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
  11. Click on 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment.
  12. Click on 'Submit' button.

 

Payment of Examination Fees:

  1. The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
  2. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
  3. After submitting your payment information in the online application form, Please wait for the intimation from the server. Do not press back or refresh button in order to avoid double charge
  4. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
  5. Non-generation of ‘E-Receipt’ indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and repeat the process of payment.
  6. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form containing fee details. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful.
  7. For Credit Card users: All charges are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to your local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
  8. To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed.

Eligibility

The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

 

MAH BHMCT CET Admit Card 2021:  As per the schedule Candidates will have to visit the http://ibps.sifyitest.com/cetbhmctja21/  website for downloading Hall Ticket for online test. Intimation for downloading Hall Ticket will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for Hall Ticket download.

The candidate is required to use

  1. Registration Number/Roll Number,
  2. Password/Date of Birth for downloading the Hall Ticket.

Candidate needs to affix recent recognizable photograph on the Hall Ticket preferably the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination Centre with (i) Hall Ticket (ii) Photo Identity Proof as stipulated below and also specified in the Hall Ticket and Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.

 

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam Centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

 

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name, Roll Number and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions.

Important Instruction:

Candidate must carry the Admit Card along with anyone of the following documents:

  • PAN Card
  • Indian Passport
  • Permanent Driving License
  • Voter’s Card
  • Bank Passbook with Photograph
  • Photo identity proof issued by a Gazzetted Officer on official letterhead along with photograph
  • Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with photograph
  • Identity Card issued by a recognized School
  • Aadhaar Card or E-Aadhaar Card print with a photograph should be shown to the invigilator for verification.

The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the Admit Card, in the Attendance List and requisite documents submitted.

Invalid Documents:

The below mentioned documents are not valid for identity verification:

  • Ration card.
  • Learning Driving License.

The MAH BHMCT CET 2021 Result will be published on the MAH BHMCT CET 2021 official website will contain the following information: Registration Number, Roll Number, Name, CET Score, CET Percentile.

The Scores of Online Examination will be obtained by adopting the following procedure:

  1. Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score.
  2. The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores* *Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.
  3. Test wise scores and scores on total is reported with decimal points upto two digits.

Admission Counselling

MAH BHMCT CET Counselling Procedure 2021: MAH BHMCT CET Counselling Procedure 2021:  The MAH BHMCT CET Counselling Procedure 2021 will start after the declaration of the MAH BHMCT CET 2021 Results.

The Counselling Procedure will be conducted as a Centralized Admission Process or CAP that will be conducted online on the website: www.mahacet.org.

 

The MAH BHMCT CET Counselling 2021 will be done on the basis of merit of candidates in the MAH BHMCT CET 2021 and the admissions will be given as per the reservation criteria and the merit in the Entrance Test.

The MAH BHMCT CET Counselling Procedure 2021 in detail is as follows:

 

Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

  1. The Unaided Private Professional Educational Institution shall admit Candidates through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
  2. The stages of CAP shall be as stated below,
    1. Display or Publishing of Information Brochure by the Competent Authority ;
    2. Filling Online Application Form by Candidate for participation in the Centralized Admission Process ;
    3. Document Verification at Facilitation Centre by the Candidate in person ;
    4. Display or Publishing of Provisional merit lists, submission of grievances, if any, and Display or Publishing of Final Merit Lists ;
    5. Display of available Category wise Seats (Seat Matrix) for CAP Round I ;
    6. Filling up and Confirmation of Online Option Form having preferences of Courses and Institutions before CAP Round I. Candidates may fill in choices of Institutes and Courses in decreasing order of their preference as specified by Competent Authority. The option form once confirmed shall be considered for allotment in CAP Round I ;
    7. Display of Provisional Allotment of CAP Round I indicating allotted institute and Course.

 

  • During the CAP, before accepting the allotted seat a Candidate can opt to ‘Freeze’, ‘Slide’ or ‘Float’ the choice of academic program for subsequent round(s), if any, of seat allocation, as provided below,
    1. Freeze: Candidates accept the offered seat and they do not want to participate in any further rounds of seat allocation. Such Candidates will not be considered in subsequent rounds of admission ;
    2. Slide: Candidates accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to the academic program of higher preference is offered within the same Institution, they will accept it. Such Candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission ;
    3. Float: Candidates accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to an academic program of higher preference in any Institution is offered, they will accept it. Else, they will continue with the currently accepted academic program. Such Candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission ;
    4. For Candidates who choose the Float or Slide option, and secures a seat of his choice of higher preference, then it would automatically result in the forfeiture of the seat accepted by the Candidate in the earlier round ;
    5. Slide and Float options will not be available to a Candidate who is offered admission to his first choice.

 

  • Conduct of CAP Round-II and III:
    1. The seats available for Rounds II and III shall be published on the website. The Candidates are allowed to fill in or edit the already filled online option form.

The seats to be allotted during the course of these rounds shall be subject to following conditions :—

  1. Before start of the round, the Candidates can change their seat acceptance option from Slide or Float to Freeze or vice-versa by submitting an application at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) where he has confirmed his admission by paying the seat acceptance Fee.
  2. Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in any of the previous rounds or who did not participate (failure of filling option form) in previous round or those who have taken and cancelled their admission in the earlier rounds or rejected seat and those who have selected Freeze option in earlier rounds but are desirous of changing it to Float or Slide are eligible to participate in these rounds.
  3. Candidates who have opted for Float or Slide and also applying for these rounds shall not fill in the allotted institution in their choice list, it will be added by the software at the end of the list. Once the upward allotment is made the earlier allotment automatically stands cancelled.
  4. Slide or Float options are not available for the seats allotted in Round III.
  5. Reporting and accepting the offered seat will be as per the allotment by the Candidate at Admission Reporting Centre.
  6. Reporting and confirmation of admission.- After the final CAP Round, the Candidate shall report to the institution finally allotted to him and confirm his admission to the institution.

After the MAH BHMCT CET Counselling Procedure 2021 is completed and the admissions in all the participating colleges for the Hotel Management Courses are over the classes for the first year of the new session will begin at each institute as per their respective schedule.
