MAH AAC CET 2021:  The MAH AAC CET 2021 or the Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test 2021 will be conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell for admissions into the first year of the Undergraduate courses of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Design in the state of Maharashtra.

The MAH AAC CET 2021 Application Form is available from June 29 to July 28, 2021 on their official website: https://mahaaccet2021.mahacet.org/StaticPages/HomePage?tms=27

The MAH AAC CET 2021 will be conducted in the form of 4 Papers as follows:

  • Paper I: Design Practical (90 minutes)
  • Paper II: Object Drawing Practical (60 minutes)
  • Paper III: Memory Drawing Practical (90 minutes)
  • Paper IV: General Knowledge (60 minutes)

The Above 4 Papers will be conducted in two consecutive days, while the Paper I, II and III will be conducted offline on the first day with a lunch break in between. The Paper IV will be conducted in an Online Session for the General Knowledge Paper of Objective Type Questions on the second day.

While in Paper I, II and III there is one question each which is a drawing type question the Paper IV consists of Objective Type Questions of General Knowledge to be conducted in an Online Session.

MAH AAC CET Application Form 2021:  The MAH AAC CET Application Form 2021 will be available online tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2021 on the website: www.mahacet.org .

The Application Form will be available for registration only in the Online mode and it will be available tentatively till the 3rd or 4th week of March, 2021.

The Application Fee for the MAH AAC CET 2021 is as follows:

  • INR 1700 for All India Candidature Candidates and General Candidates belonging from Maharashtra State Only.
  • INR 1200 for Candidates of Backward Class Categories and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.

The MAH AAC CET Application Form 2021 can be filled online successfully by following these steps:

  • MAH AAC CET 2021 Registration: In order to register online, the candidate has to visit the website www.mahacet.org and click “New Registration”. The MAH AAC CET 2021 Registration page opens up wherein he/she has to fill-in the online form. The information to be provided includes personal details and uploading of your recent color passport photograph and signature.

 

  • Filling of Online Application form: The candidate will be prompted to enter valid personal email id, personal mobile No. An email and SMS containing application id and password will be sent to this registered email id and mobile no. Please quote your Application no. in all future correspondence with MAH AAC CET Office.

 

 

  • Uploading photograph and signature: Please note that all the applicants are required to upload their recent scanned/ digital color photograph and signature. The file size of the Photograph should be between 15 KB to 35 KB and Signature should be between 5KB to 30 KB per file. The online application system will not allow to upload files smaller or larger than the specified size. All Candidates have to upload their Photograph and Signature in ".jpg" format only and file name of Photograph and signature should preferably be photo.jpg and sign.jpg respectively.
  1. For Uploading Photograph:
    1. Take your recent color passport size photograph. The picture should be taken against alight/white background. In case the face on the photograph is not clear, your application is liable to be rejected. Candidate should upload such scanned/digital photograph.
    2. File size of the Photograph should be between 15 KB to 35 KB, otherwise it will not be allowed by the System to upload.
    3. To reduce the size, crop the image of the passport size photograph in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor.
    4. Please ensure that only the full face portion is cropped and not the entire photograph.

 

  1. For Uploading Signature:
    1. The candidate himself/herself should sign (no capital letters) on a white paper with a black ink pen.
    2. Scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings and the file size should be between 5 KB to 30 KB in .jpg format.
    3. To reduce the size, crop the image of the signature in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor. Please ensure that only the signature portion is cropped and not the entire A4 paper on which you have signed. Once photograph and signature files are uploaded by the candidate successfully, the system will show on the screen Photograph and Signature that has been uploaded. If these have been correctly uploaded, you should now proceed further to make the online payment. To ensure the Photograph and Signature are within specified file size follow the following instructions
    4. Open the digital or scanned photograph or signature in MS Paint by right clicking the photographer signature.
    5. Press Ctrl + W, a window will open which will have an option 'resize by %'. Over Here enter anything between 10 to 50% and save the file with an extension .jpg.
    6. Check for the size of the file in 'properties'. If the file size is still not between 15 KB to 35 KB for Photograph and 5 KB to 20 KB for sign, once again open in paint and resize it to bring it to within specified range.
    7. Repeat this process till the file size is between specified range. Save this file with the file Name as mentioned above as photo.jpg and sign.jpg.
    8. Candidate must review their Form details before payment of fees; the details will not be available for edit once payment is made.

 

  • MAH AAC CET 2021 Application Fee Payment: Application form processing fees as stated below is to be paid through Online Payment, for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No other mode of payment shall be permitted. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

  • Registration Process Completion: On successful payment of the application fee through Online Payment gateway. Candidates shall select his/her CET Center for Practical Examination. After completing the application form candidate shall take the printout of MAH AAC CET 2021 Registration Confirmation.

 

  • Keep a copy of MAH AAC CET 2021 Application No. & Password: The candidate shall keep a copy of the MAH AAC CET 2021 Registration Confirmation printout. Please quote the MAH AAC CET 2021 Application No. in all future correspondence.

Eligibility

MAH AAC CET Eligibility Criteria 2021: The MAH-AAC-CET Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

Qualification

  • Any candidate who have passed class 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with English as a language subject.

Minimum Marks Requirement

  • Candidate must have secured at least 45% aggregate marks in their 12th class.

 

  • For reserved category, marks relaxation is 5%.

Type B

Type C

A Candidate who does not fall in either Type-A or Type-B but whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking and who has been posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submission of Application Form for CAP.

Type D

A Candidate who does not fall in any of the above Type-A, Type B and Type-C but whose Father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.

Type E

Candidates passing SSC and/or HSC Examination from a recognized institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi.

 

All India Candidature-The Candidates having Indian Nationality are eligible under this category.

Minority Candidature - The Candidate belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority Community from the State of Maharashtra and as notified by the Government are eligible under this Category.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

 

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions.

Important Instruction:

Candidate must carry the Admit Card along with anyone of the following documents:

  • Photo identity proof issued by a Gazzetted Officer on official letterhead along with photograph

  • Aadhaar Card or E-Aadhaar Card print with a photograph should be shown to the invigilator for verification.

The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the Admit Card, in the Attendance List and requisite documents submitted.

Invalid Documents:

The below mentioned documents are not valid for identity verification:

  • Ration card.
  • Learning Driving License.

 

MAH AAC CET Result 2021: The MAH AAC CET Result 2021 will be published online on the MAH AAC CET website: www.mahacet.org .

To check the MAH AAC CET Result 2021 by following the below-mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above mentioned official website.
  • Click on the MAH AAC CET link.
  • Enter the Application Number and Password.
  • The result will be displayed on a screen
  • Download and Print the MAH AAC CET Result 2021 for further references.

After the declaration of MAH AAC CET Result 2021, the Competent Authority shall invite application for admission and after verification of documents and eligibility, publish the Merit Lists.

Admission Counselling

MAH AAC CET Counselling Procedure 2021:  The MAH AAC CET Counselling Procedure 2021 will start after the declaration of the MAH AAC CET 2021 Results.

The Counselling Procedure will be conducted as a Centralized Admission Process or CAP that will be conducted online on the website: www.mahacet.org.

 

The MAH AAC CET Counselling 2021 will be done on the basis of merit of candidates in the MAH AAC CET 2021 and the admissions will be given as per the reservation criteria and the merit in the Entrance Test.

The MAH AAC CET Counselling Procedure 2021 in detail is as follows:

 

Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

  1. The Unaided Private Professional Educational Institution shall admit Candidates through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
  2. The stages of CAP shall be as stated below,
    1. Display or Publishing of Information Brochure by the Competent Authority ;
    2. Filling Online Application Form by Candidate for participation in the Centralized Admission Process ;
    3. Document Verification at Facilitation Centre by the Candidate in person ;
    4. Display or Publishing of Provisional merit lists, submission of grievances, if any, and Display or Publishing of Final Merit Lists ;
    5. Display of available Category wise Seats (Seat Matrix) for CAP Round I ;
    6. Filling up and Confirmation of Online Option Form having preferences of Courses and Institutions before CAP Round I. Candidates may fill in choices of Institutes and Courses in decreasing order of their preference as specified by Competent Authority. The option form once confirmed shall be considered for allotment in CAP Round I ;
    7. Display of Provisional Allotment of CAP Round I indicating allotted institute and Course.

 

  • During the CAP, before accepting the allotted seat a Candidate can opt to ‘Freeze’, ‘Slide’ or ‘Float’ the choice of academic program for subsequent round(s), if any, of seat allocation, as provided below,
    1. Freeze: Candidates accept the offered seat and they do not want to participate in any further rounds of seat allocation. Such Candidates will not be considered in subsequent rounds of admission ;
    2. Slide: Candidates accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to the academic program of higher preference is offered within the same Institution, they will accept it. Such Candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission ;
    3. Float: Candidates accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to an academic program of higher preference in any Institution is offered, they will accept it. Else, they will continue with the currently accepted academic program. Such Candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission ;
    4. For Candidates who choose the Float or Slide option, and secures a seat of his choice of higher preference, then it would automatically result in the forfeiture of the seat accepted by the Candidate in the earlier round ;
    5. Slide and Float options will not be available to a Candidate who is offered admission to his first choice.

 

  • Conduct of CAP Round-II and III:
    1. The seats available for Rounds II and III shall be published on the website. The Candidates are allowed to fill in or edit the already filled online option form.

The seats to be allotted during the course of these rounds shall be subject to following conditions :—

  1. Before start of the round, the Candidates can change their seat acceptance option from Slide or Float to Freeze or vice-versa by submitting an application at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) where he has confirmed his admission by paying the seat acceptance Fee.
  2. Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in any of the previous rounds or who did not participate (failure of filling option form) in previous round or those who have taken and cancelled their admission in the earlier rounds or rejected seat and those who have selected Freeze option in earlier rounds but are desirous of changing it to Float or Slide are eligible to participate in these rounds.
  3. Candidates who have opted for Float or Slide and also applying for these rounds shall not fill in the allotted institution in their choice list, it will be added by the software at the end of the list. Once the upward allotment is made the earlier allotment automatically stands canceled.
  4. Slide or Float options are not available for the seats allotted in Round III.
  5. Reporting and accepting the offered seat will be as per the allotment by the Candidate at Admission Reporting Centre.
  6. Reporting and confirmation of admission.- After the final CAP Round, the Candidate shall report to the institution finally allotted to him and confirm his admission to the institution.

 

After the MAH AAC CET Counselling Procedure 2021 is completed and the admissions in all the participating colleges for the Fine Arts Courses is over the classes for the First year of the new session will begin at each institute as per their respective schedule.
