Integrated Programme of Management Aptitude Test

IPMAT 2022:  The IPMAT 2022 or Integrated Programme of Management Aptitude Test is conducted by the IIM Indore for admissions into its 5 years Integrated Programme in Management for students after class 12^th or its equivalent. The IIM Indore was the first Institute in India to provide such programme, at present apart from IIM Indore the IIM Rohtak also provides the same course.

The restructured IPM AT or IPMAT selection procedure for the year 2022 was as follows:

Stage 1: Students apply for admissions to IPM Indore on its official website.

Stage 2: Based on the applications received, candidates satisfying minimum eligibility criteria will be called for the Aptitude Test (AT) to be conducted across many cities in the country. 

The pattern of AT will be as follows: 

1. There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ). 

2. Each question will carry 4 marks. 

3. There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except for in the Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking). 

4. The AT will be as follows: 

Stage-3: In this stage, the eligible pool for Stage-4 {i.e. shortlisting for Video Based Assessment} is created considering only the candidates having positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each of the three sections of Aptitude Test. The minimum cut off marks in each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee. The minimum cut off marks in each section will be based on the categories of applicants. 
5. Candidates must answer the sections in a pre-specified order and this order will remain the same for all the candidates. The above table does not indicate the final order of sections in the Test. 

Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are rejected at this stage. 

Stage 4: Sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for Video-Based 

Assessment stage from the eligible pool (refer Stage- 3) for each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PwD) using the merit list generated based on Aptitude Test Score (ATS) as mentioned in Table below:

Note: Maximum and Minimum scores are the highest and lowest scores obtained in respective sections by the candidates from the eligible pool.

Stage 5: Only those candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will be considered for the final selection. Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS) as mentioned in Table below and provisional admission offers will be made accordingly adhering to the Government of India reservation norms.

IPM AT Application Form 2022:  The IPM AT Application Form 2022 or IPM AT Application Form 2022 will be available online on the IIM Indore Official website: www.iimidr.ac.in .

The IPM AT Application Form 2022 will be made available online by IIM Indore tentatively between the 3^rd week of February 2022 to 2^nd week of March 2022. Candidates who are eligible for the IPM AT 2022 should apply for the same and appear for the IPM Aptitude Test and continue with the further selection procedure.\

The Application Fee for IPM AT 2022 or IPM AT 2022 will be as follows: The IPM AT 2022 or IPM AT 2022 Application fee will be a Non-refundable/non-transferable application fee of Rs. 4,130/- (Rupees Four Thousand One Hundred Thirty only, inclusive of GST @18%) / Rs.2,065/- (Rupees Two Thousand Sixty Five only, inclusive of GST @18% for SC/ST/PwD category candidates).

The IPM AT Application Form 2022 or IPM AT Application Form 2022 can be filled by following these steps:

• Step 1: Visiting Official Website- Visit the IIM Indore Official website: www.iimidr.ac.in and click on the IPM AT 2022 or IPM AT 2022 Registration.
• Step 2: Registration – On the official site complete the Registration process online through a Registered Email Id, Mobile Number, and various other personal details. The Login details for the Application will be sent on the Registered Email Id and Mobile Number of the candidate.
• Step 3: Filling the Application Details- Login through the details sent on the registered email id and mobile number on the IPM AT 2022 Application Form and fill in all the required details including Personal Details, Academic Details, etc also upload the required documents in the appropriate file size requirements as specified. Candidates belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST, and PwD categories need to produce a valid certificate(s) in support of their reservation category.

           Candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) will also be provided reservation benefits. The EWSs candidates need to produce a                  valid document ascertaining the eligibility of the candidate to apply under the EWSs category. No change in the category will be entertained once the application is submitted.

• Step 4: Completing the Payment Process- After completing all the details and uploading all the relevant documents kindly complete the Online Payment process for the IPM AT Application Form 2022 and submit the Application Form.
• Step 5: Save the Application Form- Kindly Save or Download the Application Form for further reference. The submitted Application Form details will also be sent on the registered mail id.

IPM AT Eligibility Criteria 2022: The IPM AT Eligibility Criteria 2022 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands canceled or void.

• +4 for every correct answer.
• -1 will be deducted for every wrong answer except for QA (short answer question).

IPM AT 2022: Computation of Composite Score (CS) 

IPMAT Participating Colleges 2022:  

The IIM Indore is the only IPM AT or IPMAT Participating college that takes admission through this examination in its 5 years Integrated Programme of Management offered to class 12^th or its equivalent passed students. The admission in the IIM Indore IPM programme starts after the IPM AT result is declared and the full selection procedure is completed.

The details of the IIM Indore IPM seats distribution through IPM AT 2022 or IPMAT 2022 is as follows:

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

IPM AT Admit Card 2022:  The IPM AT Admit Card 2022 or IPM AT Admit Card 2022 will be released online on the IIM Indore official website: www.iimidr.ac.in tentatively 2-3 weeks before the IPM AT examination. The Admit Card can be downloaded by the candidates after they login on the IPM AT account by using their application Number/Registration Number and password.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Registration Number and Date of Birth, and other important information including the Instructions to be followed by the candidate at the exam center before, after, and during the Entrance Examination.

IPM AT Result: The IPM AT Result 2022 or IPM AT Result 2022 will be declared by IIM Indore in different phases online on the IIM Indore Official website: www.iimidr.ac.in .

After the IPM AT 2022 or IPM AT 2022 is conducted by IIM Indore the first IPM AT Result 2022 is declared by the IIM Indore declaring the shortlisted candidates for the Video Assessment stage. The candidates can check their individual results by completing their login of the IPM AT 2022 Application on the IIM Indore official website: www.iimidr.ac.in .

The list of candidates for the eligible pool for next stage{i.e. shortlisting for Video Based Assessment} is created considering only the candidates having positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each of the three sections of Aptitude Test. The minimum cut off marks in each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee. The minimum cut off marks in each section will be based on the categories of applicants.

Sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for Video Based Assessment stage from the eligible pool for each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PwD) using the merit list generated based on Aptitude Test Score (ATS) as mentioned in Table below:

IIM Indore will declare the IPMAT or IPM AT Final Result after the Video Assessment stage listing all the candidates who have been offered admissions to the IPM Course for the batch 2022-2026. Only those candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will be considered for the final selection. Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS) as mentioned in Table below and provisional admission offers will be made accordingly adhering to the Government of India reservation norms. 

Computation of Composite Score:

After the IPMAT Result 2022 or IPM AT Result 2022 is declared the IPMAT Counselling Procedure or IPMAT Admission Procedure for the IPM Programme at IIM Indore is done.

IPM AT Counselling Procedure 2022:  The IPM AT Counselling Procedure 2022 or IPM AT Admission Procedure 2022 starts right after the IPM AT 2022 or IPM AT final results are declared and the candidates are given admissions on the decided selection criteria.

The IPM AT Selection Procedure 2022 or IPM AT Counselling/Admission Procedure 2022 will be as follows:

• First Result Declaration (Shortlisting candidates for Personal Interview): After the IPM AT Result 2022 is declared listing the candidates shortlisted for Video Assessment based upon their performance in IPM AT, the shortlisted candidates appear for the video assessment stage.
• Final Result Declaration (Preparing Final Merit List for admissions) Out of the candidates who appear for the Video Assessment Stage are finally selected for admissions based upon their Performance in the composite score calculated on the basis of performance in IPM AT and on the video assessment.
• Final Merit List and Offer Letter Acceptance: The announcement of the Merit List and sending of Offer Letters to the selected candidates will be done by IIM Indore. Candidates receiving the letter of offer for IIM Indore IPM Admission 2022 and accepting the offer within the specified date will be required to deposit Offer Acceptance Amount (as indicated in the letter of offer) via the online payment connection.

Once the selection process of the IPMAT or IPM AT is completed the new session for the first year of IPM Programme at IIM Indore commences.
