IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021:  The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi Entrance Exam 2021 or IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 will be conducted for admissions in the India Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi for the ab-initio Commercial Pilot Licence or CPL.

The IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 will be conducted by IGRUA on 21st August 2021.

Candidates selected through this Entrance Test and the further admission procedure can also opt for B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree from Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur which shall be conducted simultaneously with CPL course subject to completion of the prescribed syllabus on aviation subjects, flying and project work.  Duration of this course will be 03 years.

The Selection Procedure for the course includes the following steps:

• IGRUA Entrance Exam at various centres all over India.
• Pilot Aptitude Test,
• the interview by an interview board

comprising of representatives from industry bigwigs like NACIL, DGCA, Psychologist and IGRUA examiners.

The selection of candidates for Ab-initio (PPL or Private Pilot License) to CPL Course is done as per merit compiled after Written Test, Pilot Aptitude Test and the Interview.

A portion of total Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories of candidates as per GOI guidelines.

IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 Key Points:

IGRUA Entrance Exam Application Form 2021:

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 will be released online on the IGRUA official website: www.igrua.gov.in . The Application Form is available on the IGRUA Official Website from 5th April to 25th April 2021.

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 can be accessed from the IGRUA Official website from the link “IGRUA Entrance” displayed on the IGRUA Official website: www.igrua.gov.in .

The Application Fee for IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 will be ₹12000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and there will be no fee charged from the SC & ST candidates.

Candidates applying for IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 are required to apply online ONLY through the official website http://igrua.gov.in/ .

Before filling up Online Application, the Candidate must be ready with following documents:

• Scanned image of Recent Coloured Photograph of candidate (File size of 80KB (maximum) in JPEG format only)
• Scanned Signature of candidate (File size of 80KB (maximum) in JPEG format only) Email Id Mobile No.
• Mark sheets Details for 10th, 12th, Scanned copy of Signatures, Photo, Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking details for payment gateway

A valid E-mail id and Mobile Number is mandatory for the submission of your Online Application. This Email id and Mobile number should be active until declaration of results.

IGRUA will send important information about the application and examination on this registered Email Id / Mobile number. Please note that after submission, the particulars mentioned in the Online Application in each stage will be considered as Final. After the submission of the online application at each stage, candidate will not be able to edit / delete any fields of the Online Application.

Applications received without appropriate Application Fee, required documents & information as per entrance notification are liable to be rejected. IGRUA reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centre and/or add some other cities/centres’ depending upon the response, administrative feasibility or any force-majeure conditions etc. Hence, Candidates are requested to fill in the online application form with utmost care as no correspondence regarding change of details will be entertained at later stage.

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 can be submitted online by following these steps:

STEP 1: Candidates are required to visit website: http://igrua.gov.in  First. Then click on “ENTRANCE 2021” and go through the following documents:

STEP 2: For registration of online Application Form click on “New User Registration” Candidates are required to register with their Applicant Full Name, Date of Birth, Category, Email id & Mobile No. Note: Age limit is min 17 years at the time of joining.

STEP 3: After successful Registration, Candidate will receive their "User ID" and "Password” on Registered "Email ID" and "Mobile Number".

STEP 4: After Registration, Candidate can click on “Login for Registered User” and Login using "User ID" and "Password”.

After, Login: Click on Go to Application Form & Fill below said details:

STEP 5: On successful submission of the Application Form & deposit of application fee, you will be able to view the complete application submitted by you, including your Photo along with the message of Successful submission by clicking on track your application form. Please take a print out of this application form for future correspondence & Application Sequence Number printed on it.

STEP 6: Deposit the requisite Application fees through online via State Bank of India payment gateway. Please confirm your Payment Status by re-login the Application Form after about 24 hours of making the payment.

Mode of payment: Debit Card/Credit Card/SBI Net banking/Other Net banking/E-Challan

 Post filling the complete details in the online application form, the applicant will receive an email address and /or SMS regarding successful submission of application form on your registered email address and /or on your registered mobile number.

Please fill up all details very carefully. After submission of the form candidate will not be able to edit /delete any field. However, Candidates can Edit and Preview the Application Form before clicking on Submit. If the entered information is correct, candidates may finally, click on Submit Button and pay the Application fee.

NOTE: After successful submission, candidate will get SMS on registered mobile/ Email. Please save your "User ID" and "Password”. This information will be used to login for downloading your hall ticket / admit card / written result / schedule for interview / final result etc.

Important notes:

• Please fill up your application carefully.
• Take care to upload the right document at right place as mentioned in the application form.
• Only latest coloured photograph to be uploaded.
• Candidates should keep at least 1 number of same LATEST Photograph in reserve for future use, which they have uploaded in the application form.
• Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be as per discretion of U.P State Construction and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited.

N.B.: In case of any discrepancy in print media or website, the records with IGRUA will be treated as final.

IGRUA Eligibility Criteria 2021: The IGRUA Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

IGRUA Entrance Exam Participating Colleges 2021:  The IGRUA Entrance Exam Participating Colleges 2021 includes the list of colleges that take admissions into the Ab-Initio to CPL course through the IGRUA Entrance Exam.

Presently only the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi or IGRUA only takes admissions through IGRUA Entrance Exam to its 120 seats offered in the Ab-initio to CPL course.

Although after the admissions in the Ab-Initio to CPL course the candidates can also opt for the 3 years B.Sc. in Aviation course from Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur which shall be conducted simultaneously with CPL course subject to completion of the prescribed syllabus on aviation subjects, flying and project work.

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Participating College 2021 details are as follows:

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

IGRUA Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021:  The IGRUA Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021 will be available for download on the candidate’s login on the IGRUA Entrance Exam official website: www.igrua.gov.in.

Candidates can download the admit card on 9th August 2021.

The Candidates can download the Admit Card by logging into the IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 Portal through their Registered Id and Password and after the same view and download the Admit card for taking a print out of the same.

Admit cards will serve as a valid identity for attending Interview / Aptitude test and must be preserved till joining.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Registration Number and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions to be followed by the candidate at the exam centre before, after and during the Entrance Examination.

IGRUA Entrance Exam Result 2021:  The IGRUA Entrance Exam Result 2021 will be declared online by the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi or IGRUA on its official website: www.igrua.gov.in . The Candidates can check their Result online by logging into their Candidate Login on the IGRUA Official Website.

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Result 2021 will be declared after every stage of Test, but the Final Result will be released after conducting of all the rounds of Selection Procedure. Candidates who will appear in the Exam and qualifies the exam are able to check their Results by visiting the official website.

The cut-off marks for SC/ST/EWS/OBC candidates will be 5% less from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category.

After the above mentioned Selection Procedure for IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021, the admissions into the IGRUA is given to Shortlisted candidates in the Final Merit List will be inducted in three batches.

IGRUA Counselling Procedure 2021: The IGRUA Counselling Procedure 2021 or IGRUA Admission Selection process 2021 for the Ab-initio to CPL course offered at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi or IGRUA starts right after the IGRUA Entrance Exam Result 2021 is declared.

The IGRUA Selection Procedure 2021 after the IGRUA Entrance Exam Result 2021 is declared is done by the following process:

• The List of selected or shortlisted candidates is declared in the Entrance test based upon the minimum cut-off marks for each category in the entrance exam. The cut off marks for SC/ST/EWS/OBC candidates will be 5% less from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category. In case SC/ST/EWS and OBC candidates do not qualify even after 5% relaxation in the Entrance Written test, the seats would be de-reserved for General Category.

• The shortlisted candidates as per the list declared above are called up for further steps of the selection procedure including Personal Interview, Pilot Aptitude Test etc.

• Interview / Viva: All short listed Candidates will be required to produce following documents in original as well as one photocopy of each document at the time of interview 

1. Proof of Date of Birth (such as 10th Class certificate)
2. 10th Mark sheet
3. 10+2 Mark sheet
4. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidates
5. A Certificate from the competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to Creamy layer.
6. A Certificate from an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar that the candidate falls under EWS category.
7. Admit Card Downloaded for Written Test

• Pilot Aptitude Test/Psychometric Test: - Only successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final selection. No relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/EWS/OBC Candidates in Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test.

• Commitment Money: All Selected Candidates including SC / ST / EWS / OBC will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 2 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total fee) to secure their seat on first come first serve basis.

After the Admission Procedure of the IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 is completed as per the above selection procedure the Candidates join the Ab-initio to CPL course by completing the rest formalities.

Course or Training Fee:  Please note that the Total Course or Training fee of this course or Training fees is ₹45,00000 or ₹45 Lakhs that has to be paid in 4 quarterly installments in one year.
