ICAR AIEEA 2021:  The ICAR AIEEA 2021 or Indian Council for Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Agriculture 2021 will be conducted by the NTA or the National Testing Agency online tentatively in the 2nd week of June, 2021.

Please Note: Over here we are only covering the ICAR AIEEA (UG) that is conducted for admissions in the undergraduate Agriculture courses after 10+2 or its equivalent. Students looking to get into agriculture after graduation will not find any relevant information here and are advised not to visit this page for any updates.

The ICAR AIEEA (UG) is the biggest entrance examination for the various undergraduate courses in Agriculture, Horticulture and other related fields of Agriculture.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting All India Entrance Examinations for admission to UG, PG & Ph.D. Courses in AUs or Agricultural Universities, and award of scholarships and fellowships to the NTA from 2019 onwards.

ICAR AIEEA Application Form 2021:  The ICAR AIEEA Application Form 2021 or the Application form for ICAR AIEEA (UG) 2021 will be available online on the NTA website for ICAR AIEEA 2021: www.icar.nta.nic.in .

The Application Form will be available online for registration tentatively from 1st week of March, 2021 to the Last week of March, 2021.

The Application Fee for the ICAR AIEEA (UG) 2021 will be as follows:

INR 750 for General, OBC-NCL and EWS Candidates and

INR 375 for SC, ST, PWD and Transgender Candidates.

*Please Note: The other charges like GST and payment gateway or bank charges have to be paid by the Candidate.

 

Details and Documents Required for filling the ICAR AIEEA (UG) Application Form:

Candidates must keep following information ready before filling online Application Form:

  • Govt Identity Details like Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits)/Election Card (EPIC No.)/Passport number/Ration Card Number/ Bank Account Number/PAN Number/ Other valid Govt Ids.
  • Address for communication, Mobile Number, email id, etc.
  • Scanned images of latest Photograph (size of 10 kb to 200 kb) in JPG/ JPEG format only
  • Scanned image of Signature (size of 4 kb to 30 kb) in JPG/ JPEG format only
  • Scanned image of Thumb Impression, Male-Left and Female-Right (size of 3kb to 30 kb) in JPG/ JPEG format only
  • Bank Account details for payment of Fee, for uploading as part of submission of online application.

The ICAR AIEEA (UG) Application Form 2021 can be successfully filled online by following these steps:

 

  • Step I: Registration:

Fill in the basic information and note down the system generated Application No.

  1. Candidate’s Name/ Mother’s Name/ Father’s Name: Provide Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name as given in the Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University Certificate in capital letters
  2. Date of Birth: dd/mm/yyyy Provide Candidate’s date of birth as recorded in Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University certificate.
  3. Mobile Number and e-mail address: Candidates must provide own Mobile Number and e-mail address.

 

Note: Only one e-mail address and one Mobile Number are valid for one application

 

  • Step II: Complete the Application Form:

Fill in the complete Application Form:

  1. Other Backward Classes (OBC)- Non Creamy Layer as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website (www.ncbc.nic.in). Thus, the candidates falling in this list may mention OBC in the Category Column. State list OBC Candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose General.
  2. Economically Weaker Section (EWS) - As per the OM No. 20013/01/2018-BC-II dated January 17, 2019, issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the OM No. 12- 4/2019-U1 dated 17.01.2019 as well as the Letters No 35-2/2019-T.S.I dated 21.01.2019, 01.02.2019, 04.02.2019, and 15.02.2019 of MHRD Department of Higher Education regarding the implementation of reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) for admission in Central Educational Institutions.
  3. Provide complete postal address with PIN Code (Mailing Address as well as Permanent Address) for further correspondence. PIN code of Correspondence Address should be given in the space provided for this purpose. Note: The NTA shall not be responsible for any delay/loss in postal transit or for an incorrect Correspondence address given by the Applicant in the Application Form.
  4. Choice of Cities for Examination Centres: The candidate should select any four cities of their choice for examination of ICAR-AIEEA (UG) 2021.
  5. Under no circumstances the choice of cities for Centre and ICAR-AIEEA-UG subject filled in the Application Form shall be changed by the NTA.

 

  • Step III: Uploading of scanned photograph, signature and Thumb Impression:
    1. Candidate’s Photograph:
      • The photograph must be taken recently. Photograph should not be with cap or goggles. 80% of the face should be clearly visible, with a white background.
      • Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly.
      • Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable.
      • Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.
      • Candidates may please note that if it is found that photograph uploaded is fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seems to be hand-made or computer made, the form of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using unfair means and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly.
      • Application without photograph shall be rejected. The photograph need not be attested.
      • Candidates are advised to take 6 to 8 passport size coloured photographs with white background.
      • Passport size photograph is to be used for uploading on Online Application Form and also for pasting on Attendance Sheet at the examination centre.
      • The candidate should scan his/her passport size photograph for uploading. File size must be between 10 kb to 200 kb.

 

  1. Candidate’s Signature: The candidates are required to upload their full signature in running handwriting in the appropriate box given in the Online Application Form. Writing full name in the Box in Capital letters would not be accepted as signature and the Application Form will be rejected. Further, unsigned Online Application Forms will also be rejected.
    • The candidate should put his full signature on white paper with Black Ink pen and scan for uploading.
    • File size must be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

Note: The candidate must ensure that the uploaded images are clear and proper.

  1. Candidate’s Thumb Impression:
    • The candidates are required to upload their Thumb Impression in the appropriate box given in the Online Application Form.
    • Males have to use Left Thumb Impression and Females have to use Right Thumb Impression
    • File size must be between 3 kb to 30 kb.
  • Step IV: Payment of Fee and Status of receipt of Online Application Form with Fee: The final Confirmation of payment of Fee and the receipt of the online transaction will be displayed on the Confirmation Page of AIEEA-UG 2021. The candidature of the candidate, whose fees have not been received till the prescribed last date, will not be considered for the examination. In case the candidate has paid the fee but is still not able to download the Confirmation Page, the candidate should approach the Help Line between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm in the duration of dates declared with the following documents for correction and considering his/her candidature for the examination.
    • Proof of fee paid (Photocopy of transaction slip of fees paid through Debit/Credit Card and Net Banking/Paytm). In case, the fee has not been remitted within the prescribed last date, the application would be treated as incomplete/unsuccessful and it shall not be considered.
    • The fee difference on account of change of category by the candidate during correction of particulars in the online application form shall have to be paid mandatorily by the candidate.
    • No request regarding the non-receipt of Online Application Form/Fee would be entertained by the NTA after the prescribed date.
    • Candidates are advised to keep visiting the NTA website regularly for the latest updates. Candidates should check their mailbox for the given email IDs and SMS in their registered Mobile Number for the latest updates and information.

Eligibility

 

ICAR AIEEA Eligibility Criteria 2021 (UG): The ICAR AIEEA Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfil a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

 

The ICAR AIEEA Eligibility Criteria 2021 in detail are as follows: 

Age Limit

Candidate should not be less than 16 years of age as on 31.08.2021.

 

Qualification

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University
  • Candidate who is appearing in class 12th are also eligible to apply but, they have to produce the proof of qualifying examination.

 

Minimum Marks Requirement

  • Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks aggregate in their 12th class.
  • For SC, ST, Transgender, PwD categories, marks relaxation is 10%.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

ICAR AIEEA Admit Card (UG) 2021:  The ICAR AIEEA Admit Card 2021 or ICAR AIEEA Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download tentatively in the 2nd or 3rd week of May, 2021 on the official website of ICAR AIEEA: www.icar.nta.nic.in .

To Download the ICAR AIEEA Admit Card 2021 by following below mentioned steps:

  • Go to the official website i.e., www.icar.nta.nic.in .
  • Click on the Download ICAR AIEEA Admit Card (UG).
  • Enter the Application Number, Date of Birth and Security Pin.
  • Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.
  • Download and Print the ICAR AIEEA Admit Card 2021 (UG).

 

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

 

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Roll Number, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name, Subject Group and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions to be followed by the candidate at the exam centre before, after and during the Entrance Examination.

 

Important Instruction:

Candidate must carry the Admit Card along with anyone of the following documents:

  • Print copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA website
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at the Centre during the Examination
  • Any one of the authorized Govt photo IDs (original, valid and non-expired), viz. PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card
  • PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.
  • The candidates must sign and paste the photograph on the Attendance Sheet at the appropriate place.

 

ICAR AIEEA (UG) Result 2021: The ICAR AIEEA Result 2021 will be published online on the ICAR AIEEA website: www.icar.nta.nic.in .

Candidates can check the ICAR AIEEA Result 2021 by following the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above-mentioned official website.
  • Click the ICAR AIEEA (UG) Result 2021.
  • Enter the Application No., Date of Birth and Security Pin.
  • Click on the Submit button.
  • Result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and Print the ICAR AIEEA (UG) Result 2021 for further references.

Tie Breaking:

Single overall merit-rank list will be prepared by ICAR. In the event of tie/candidates getting equal marks in the Entrance Examination, relative merit will be determined in the following order:

  • on the basis of marks obtained in the main subjects Mathematics (PCM)/Biology (PCB)/Agriculture (ABC/PCA) in AIEEA-UG Examination
  • the candidate scoring fewer negative marks will be rated higher in merit
  • the candidate higher in age would be rated higher in merit
  • Candidate with higher % age/CGPA score in Class X examination would be rated higher in merit.

Category-wise final merit list for counselling shall be prepared based on the reservation category information given by the candidate in Online Application Form.

The result of the entrance examination would be available in terms of overall merit-rank obtained by the candidate declared eligible for registration and choice filling for counselling.

Admission Counselling

ICAR AIEEA (UG) Counselling Procedure 2021: The ICAR AIEEA Counselling Procedure will be conducted by the ICAR or Indian Council for Agricultural Research after the declaration of the ICAR AIEEA (UG) Result 2021.

The Counselling Procedure is completed online on the ICAR Counselling Website: www.icar.exam.net .

 

The ICAR AIEEA (UG) Counselling Procedure 2021 in detail is as follows:

  • For Online Counselling, the qualified candidate has to get registered by paying Rs. 2,000/ through online payment gateway of ICAR by using Credit/ Debit card/ Net banking.
  • Only notified candidate are able to log in to online counselling page.
  • Candidates can select the courses and university one by one in combination to select multiple choices for the courses.
  • There will be provisions to add / modify / delete choices during the stipulated time period.
  • Further, provision for interchange/ upward movement/ downward movement will also be available and permissible any number of times.
  • After completion of choice selection, the candidate will save the choices.
  • He/ she will be able to take a draft printout with lock status so that he/ she can discuss the choices filled-with his/her mentors and update the same, if desired.
  • Candidates must update his/ her choices any number of times before the last date/until the choices will get locked by the candidate. If by the last date and time, the choices are not locked by the candidate, then the last saved choices will be automatically locked.
  • The locked choices must be processed according to merit and available seats on a scheduled date for the allotment of seats.
  • The candidates will be intimated through e-mail/SMS about the University and Course allotted. The list of allotted candidates will be updated in the relevant database.
  • The candidates then will download the provisional allotment letter in PDF format from the portal.
  • For admission, the successful candidates will report to the allotted University.
  • The University will check online details of provisional admission offer (from ICAR) downloadable by the candidates for verification.
  • After checking the original documents of the candidates, the university will issue the final admission letter online to the admitted candidates.
  • If admission is given, then final admission letter will be generated.

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Admission:

After the declaration of the result, the counselling process has been conducted through online mode.

There is no other mode for the conduction of counselling. It is only held through online mode. The all counselling dates has been published by the authority.

The admissions is given on the basis of rank of the candidate on the merit list. It is necessary to take part in online counselling to get admission in the agriculture universities/institutions.

 

After the ICAR AIEEA Counselling Procedure is completed and all the admissions to the various courses in the different AUs or Agricultural Universities are over then the classes for the first year of the new session will start as per the schedule of classes declared by each Institute respectively.
