GUJCET 2021:  The GUJCET 2021 or Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2021 will be conducted by the Gujarat State Education Board or GSEB for admissions into the Undergraduate Engineering and Pharmacy courses in the state Government and Private Engineering and Pharmacy colleges located in the state of Gujarat.

The GUJCET 2021 will be conducted tentatively in the 1st or 2nd week of June, 2021 and the application for the same is expected to arrive tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2021.

The GUJCET will be a 3 hours duration Offline examination having a total of 120 Questions for Pharmacy and Engineering respectively. While in Engineering the sections included will be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, for Pharmacy the candidates will have to appear for Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology.

GUJCET Application Form 2021:  The GUJCET Application Form 2021 will be available online on the Gujarat CET Official website: https://gujcet.gseb.org/

The Application Form will be available tentatively from the 1st week of February, 2021 and is expected to be available till the last week of March, 2021.

The Application Fee for GUJCET 2021 will be:

  • INR 300
  • INR 1500 (with Late fee)

The GUJCET Application Form 2021 can be filled online by following these steps:

Step 1: Registration- Candidates will have to first register by entering the following details-

  • Name
  • Gender
  • Mobile Number
  • Email Id
  • Create Password
  • Captcha code

After entering all the details, candidates will have to click on the “Register” button. On successful registration, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates.

Step 2: Payment of fee- After registration, candidates will have to login to the candidate portal using Mobile number/Email, password and captcha code. After login, candidates will have to pay the application fee of GUJCET 2021 by clicking on the “Pay Now” button. Candidates will be able to make the payment through Debit /Credit Card/Internet banking, SBI Branch Payment and Online and Push Response (SBI cash offline payment). Candidates are advised to take a print out of the receipt after successful payment.

Step 3: Filling up Application Form details- After successful payment, candidates will have to fill all the required details of the application form as mentioned below-

Step 4: Uploading Documents- Once all the details are entered, candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per the specifications set by the authorities.

Once the documents are uploaded, candidates will have to click on the “Save” button, agree to the declaration and finally submit the application by clicking on the “Submit” button.

Step 5: Print out Application Form- In the last step, candidates will have to take a print out of the finally submitted application form for future references.

Before filling the GUJCET Application Form 2021 the candidates must read the information brochure carefully to check important details like Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Reservation details, Seat Information etc.

Eligibility

GUJCET Eligibility Criteria 2021: The GUJCET Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

The GUJCET Eligibility Criteria 2021 in detail are as follows: 

Nationality:

Candidate must be an Indian National.

Domicile:

Candidate must be domicile of Gujarat.

Qualification:

Candidate must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one among Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer/ Vocational Course Subject.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

Candidate need to secure at least 45% marks in aggregate.

For SC/ST/SEBC/EWS candidates, marks relaxation is 5%.

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

 

GUJCET Admit Card 2021:  The GUJCET Admit Card 2021 or GUJCET Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download in the 3rd and 4th week of April, 2021 on the official website of GUJCET: www.gujcet.gseb.org .

Download the GUJCET Admit Card 2021 by following below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above mentioned website
  • Enter the Mobile Number or Email ID and Date of Birth or Application Number.
  • Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.
  • Download and Print the GUJCET Admit Card 2021.

 

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

 

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Application Form Number, Centre Number, Personal Details of the Candidate like Name, Seat Number, and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions.

 

Important Instruction:

  • Candidate have to sign at two places in the admit card
  • candidates have to take the signature of the block supervisor at the exam center as evidence of getting and submitting the question booklet and answer sheet of GUJCET 2021.

GUJCET Result 2021: The GUJCET Result 2021 will be published online on the GUJCET website: www.gseb.org

Check the GUJCET Result 2021 by following the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the above-mentioned official website.
  • Enter the Seat Number and click on GO button.
  • Result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and Print the GUJCET Result 2021 for further references

Merit List:

Merit list will be declare after the result declaration. To prepare the merit list 60% weightage will be awarded to the 12th class and 40% weightage will be given to the marks obtained in the entrance exam.

Tie Breaking Resolution:

If two or more candidates scoring the same score, then the below mentioned steps will be consider:

  • First preference will be given to the Scoring more marks in Mathematics + Physics is scored higher.
  • If tie still exist,  total score in maths and chemistry section is compared.
  • If tie still exist, Marks obtained in Physics and Chemistry section together is considered.
  • If tie still exist, section wise score in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English, individually and respectively is taken into consideration.
  • If tie still exist, aggregate marks secured in GUJCET is compared

Cut off:

Authority will declare the Cut off list after the declaration of result.

Admission Counselling

GUJCET Counselling Procedure 2021:  The GUJCET Counselling Procedure 2021 will begin after the GUJCET Result 2021 will be released online.

The Counselling will be based on the Rank obtained by candidates in GUJCET and their category to which they belong.

The GUJCET Counselling Procedure 2021 will be conducted by the Gujarat ACPC or Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Gujarat.

 

Online Admission Process carried out by ACPC consists of three phases:

  1. Advertisement of admission process and Online Registration on www.gujacpc.nic.in  
  2. Preparation and declaration of merit & Online Choice filling
  3. Admission allotment & confirmation For entire admission process candidates are advised to visit following websites regularly (at least once a day) updating themselves for latest announcements and activities.

 

Registration Process:

  1. Admission Advertisement in leading newspapers.
  2. Online Registration on www.gujacpc.nic.in  
  3. Online Filling of Registration Form
  4. Uploading the required documents
  5. Online Payment of Registration Fees
  6. Confirmation of Registration

 

Merit Declaration, Choice Filling and Admission Confirmation:

  1. After registration process, ACPC will declare merit list of all eligible candidates. Candidate needs to verify merit number and category as mentioned in registration details.
  2. After merit declaration, the choice filling will be initiated online. The candidate is advised to fill a maximum number of choices available to ensure admission.
  3. The first round of choice filling will be Mock round, based on analysis given candidate should modify their choices or add more choices if not able to secure admission in the actual round.
  4. After choice filling for the actual round, ACPC will allot admission on basis of merit and choices given by the candidate.
  5. If a candidate wishes to confirm admission, he needs to pay a token fee through an online payment.
  6. It is mandatory to get admission slip on the line after paying a token fee to confirm the admission allotted.

After the GUJCET Counselling Procedure 2021 is completed by the Gujarat ACPC for admissions into the Pharmacy and Engineering courses in all participating colleges, the classes at all the institutes for these courses will start as per their respective schedule.
