CMI EE Application Form 2021:  The CMI EE Application Form 2021 or Chennai Mathematical Institute Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 is available online on the CMI official website: www.cmi.ac.in from 1st May 2021 to 31st May 2021. Candidates can also request for a printed application form, either by post or in person.

The Application Form can be filled online on the official website by entering the required details, uploading the documents required and completing the Application Payment process.

The Application Fee for the B.Sc. (Hons) Courses: B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics and Computer Science and B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics and Physics is ₹750.

The candidate while filling the Application Form for CMI EE need not select the course at the time of application, this choice can be made after admission.

The Procedure for filling the CMI EE Application Form 2021 is as follows:

Online Application:

• Registration:  Visit the official website of CMI EE: www.cmi.ac.in and click on the CMI EE Application Form. In the new Window click on Register and complete your registration by entering your required details along with the Email Id and Mobile Number.
• Filling the Application Form:  After successful registration visit the official website and login in to the website using your credentials. After the Login complete the Application Form by entering the Personal and Academic details required. Also, upload the documents required for admissions.
• Choose the Exam Centre: After filling in the Personal and Academic details choose your desired Exam Centre from the list of Exam Centers given.
• Payment and Form Submission:  Finally complete the Payment Procedure Online and submit the form. Do download or save one copy of the application form for future reference.

Offline Application:

• Request for a Printed Application Form by Post or in Person:  Candidates can obtain the printed application form by post. To obtain a printed form, they will have to send a DD in favour of Chennai Mathematical Institute, drawn on any bank, payable at Chennai to the following address;

• Fill the Application Form:  Once you receive the Application Form kindly fill the same with all your required details and also attach the Documents required as mentioned in the Instructions.
• Submit the Application Form:  Once you fill the complete application form kindly enclose it in an envelope and sent it via post along with the Demand Draft or Payment Slip of the Application Fee to the Chennai Mathematical Institute mentioning your Application Number, Name, and Date of Birth outside the envelope also.

• Part B will be graded only if they score a certain minimum in part A. However, the candidate’s individual scores in both parts will be used while making the final decision.

CMI EE Participating Colleges 2021:  The CMI EE Participating Colleges 2021 only include the CMI or Chennai Mathematical Institute. So, there is only one CMI EE Participating College or Institute.

The CMI EE Participating Colleges 2021 details are as follows:

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

After the CMI EE Result 2021 is declared the counselling procedure for the admissions in the CMI EE Participating Colleges 2021 will be done on the basis of the Result of CMI EE.

CMI EE Admit Card 2021:  The CMI EE Admit Card 2021 will be available for download on 15th June 2021 on the CMI EE official website: www.cmi.ac.in . 

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same, the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Personal Details of the Candidate like Registration Number and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions to be followed by the candidate at the exam centre before, after and during the Entrance Examination.

CMI EE Result 2021:  The CMI EE Result 2021 will be released by CMI or Chennai Mathematical Institute within 4 weeks after the CMI EE is conducted. The CMI EE Result 2021 will be declared online on www.cmi.ac.in.

The CMI EE Result 2021 declared by the Chennai Mathematical Institute or CMI displays the following:

The list of candidates selected for admissions with Scholarship. The details are also sent to the candidates individually on email.

The list of candidates selected for admissions without a scholarship. The details of scholarship if provided to them will depend upon the number of candidates leaving their scholarship seats as mentioned in the Scholarship list. The details will be sent to these candidates about the scholarship once the admission procedure of the above list is over.

The list of wait-listed candidates for admissions: These students will be invited if there are still seats vacant after the above two list candidates have completed the admission procedure or if candidates in the above lists leave the admission process and there are still seats vacant.

Please Note: For the admissions in the BSc. Courses provided by the CMI; interviews will be at the discretion of the Admissions Committee. The Committee may call shortlisted candidates for an interview depending on their prior academic record.

After the CMI EE Result 2021 is declared the Counselling and Admission Procedure at CMI based upon the CMI EE begins.

CMI EE Counselling Procedure 2021:  The CMI EE Counselling Procedure 2021 or CMI EE Admission Procedure 2021 will start immediately after the CMI EE Result 2021 is declared online on the CMI official website: www.cmi.ac.in .

The CMI Counselling Procedure 2021 will be as follows:

• After the CMI EE Result 2021 is declared on www.cmi.ac.in the lists of candidates selected for Scholarship, without scholarship and wait-listed candidates will be displayed online. The candidates will also be informed via email by sending them formal offer letters. These will be sent to candidates starting from the list of Candidates selected for Scholarship.
• If from the total list of candidates selected for scholarship the seats offered for scholarship are not filled then the candidates in the second list of candidates who were selected for admissions without scholarship will be sent formal offer letters to fill those seats. The rest will be sent offer letter for filling the remaining seats for admissions.
• If from the first two lists of candidates including the scholarship and normal admission list still some seats remain vacant, then the wait-listed candidates as declared in the CMI EE Result 2021 will be sent offer letters for the admissions. Please Note that due time will be given to each and every candidate in the first two lists and if they still do not complete the admission procedure then only the wait-listed candidates will be called for admissions in the seats that remain vacant.

Please Note: For the admissions in the BSc. Courses provided by the CMI; interviews will be at the discretion of the Admissions Committee. The Committee may call shortlisted candidates for an interview depending on their prior academic record.

Important Note: Students with exceptionally good performance in the National Olympiads in Mathematics and Physics conducted by HBSCE and the Indian Computing Olympiad conducted by IARCS may be exempted from writing the entrance examination at the discretion of the Admissions Committee. These students can be provided direct admissions after a Personal Interview conducted by the Admissions Committee.

After the Admission Procedure at CMI is concluded the dates of the New Session start are declared by the Institute and the New session begins.
