Assam Combined Entrance Examination

Assam CEE 2021:  The Assam CEE 2021 or Assam Combined Entrance Examination 2021 will conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati for admissions into the Undergraduate Engineering courses in all the Engineering Colleges of Assam.

The Assam CEE 2021 or as simply referred to as CEE 2021 will be conducted tentatively in the last week of May, 2021.

Assam CEE 2021 will be based on  the syllabus  of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The examination will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and comprise of a single paper of 3(three) hours duration having one section each of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

The Application Form for the Assam CEE 2021 will be available tentatively from the 1^st week of February, 2021.

The Assam CEE Application Form 2021 can be filled online by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit www.astu.ac.in  and click on CEE 2021 Online Form Fill-up link.

Step 2: Click on the Application Form Tab

Step 3: Read the Instructions carefully before online form filling

Step 4: Click on Next and fill-up the form and submit

Step 5: Pay the fee through an online payment facility, which is available on the website

Step 6: Take a printout of the Application Form for his/her personal record.

NB: Copy of Application Form or any other document need not be sent to the office of ASTU. However, candidates may take a printout of the Application Form for his/her personal record.

The Assam CEE Participating Colleges 2021 or Assam CEE Participating Universities 2021 are as follows:

The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

Assam CEE Admit Card 2021:  The Assam CEE Admit Card 2021 or Assam CEE Hall Ticket 2021 will be available for download tentatively in the 3^rd and 4^th week of April, 2021 on the official website of  Assam CEE: www.astu.ac.in .

To Download the Assam CEE Admit Card 2021 by following below mentioned steps:

• Go to the official website i.e., www.astu.ac.in .
• Click on the Assam CEE Admit Card Link.
• Enter the Application Number and Password.
• Click on Login
• Then, Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and check all the details.
• Download and Print the Assam CEE Admit Card 2021.

Candidate should carry anyone of the following Valid Id Proof along with Admit card are as follows:

• Pan Card
• Driving Licence
• Voter ID
• 12th Class Board Admit or Registration Card
• Passport
• Aadhaar Card (With Photograph)
• E-Aadhaar
• Ration Card
• Aadhaar Enrolment No with Photo.

The Admit Card is an important document and must be carefully kept by the candidates as it is necessary to produce at the Exam centre while appearing for the Entrance Examination and without the same the Candidate is not allowed to enter the exam hall to appear for the entrance examination.

The Admit Card usually contains the details of the Exam Centre, Exam Date, Personal Details of the Candidate like Application Number and Date of Birth and other important information including the Instructions to be followed by the candidate at the exam centre before, after and during the Entrance Examination.

Assam CEE Result 2021: The Assam CEE Result 2021 will be published online on the Assam CEE website: www.astu.ac.in . The ASTU or Assam Science and Technology University will release Rank Cards for students which they can view and download online from the Candidate portal.

Assam CEE Result/Rank Card 2021 must be secured by the candidates as it will be asked at the time of counselling. The results will be announced by the Assam Science and Technology University official website http://astu.ac.in  through online mode only. No other mode will be available to access the result.

The score card will not be sent to the candidates individually. The University will send the SMS on the candidate’s registered mobile number regarding candidates ranks after half an hour of declaration of results.

To download the rank card, aspirants have to follow the following steps:

• Click on the “View your Rank card” link.
• Now, fill your “Application No and Password”
• Now click on the “View Rank Card” button.
• The rank card will appear on the computer screen.
• Download the rank card and take the print copy of it for future use.

Tie Breaking Criteria:

Assam CEE 2021 Rank will be generated on the basis of total marks secured in all three subjects i.e. (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry).

In case of tie in total marks obtained:

• Preference will be given to highest mark scored in Mathematics
• if the tie still exists then the preference will be given to highest mark obtained in Physics
• if the tie still exists then the preference will be given to highest mark obtained in Chemistry.
• if the tie still exists then the preference will be given to date of birth are taken into account.

Assam CEE Counselling Procedure 2021:  The Assam CEE Counselling Procedure 2021 will start after the declaration of the Assam CEE Result 2021 by the Assam Science and Technology University.

The Counselling will be conducted by the DTE or Department of Technical Education, Assam.

The Counselling for Assam CEE 2021 will be conducted on the DTE Assam Engineering Counselling Website: https://engineering.dteassamcounselling.in/

The Counselling will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in Assam CEE.

The Assam CEE Counselling Procedure 2021 has to be completed by the students by following these steps:

• Submission of choices of Institutes & Branches:

1. Step-1: Log in the https://dte.assam.gov.in by inserting Application No. generated during on line form fill up for CEE 2021 and the Date of birth of the candidate.
2. Step-2: Documents uploading along with the Undertaking.
3. Step-3: Filling up of preferences of Institutes & Branches in order of preference. The candidates must filled up the preferences very carefully because the allotment of seats will be based on these preferences only based on the CEE 2021 and s/he will not be allowed to change the preferences in any case. If a candidate is not interested to study a particular choice (institute/ branch), s/he must not include in his/ her list of preferences.
4. Step-4: Final Submission

• Reporting for admission: Candidates are to proceed for the following steps only after the provisional allotment of seat.

1. Step-5: Uploading of Acceptance Letter along with Part A format available in the information brochure regarding the acceptance of provisional allotment of Institute & Branch.
2. Step-6: Reporting for final admission to the respective Institution where the candidate is admitted.

After the Admission Procedure of all the Engineering Colleges is completed via the Assam CEE Counselling Procedure 2021. The Classes for the first year of the new session will begin as per the respective schedule of the Institutes.
