Eligibility:

Subject Combination: Students must have science stream subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, etc.  For most BSc. courses PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) are needed. Although for particular BSc. courses in some subjects having that subject in class 12th or equivalent are compulsory.

Educational Qualification: Class 12th or equivalent final exam appearing or passed.

Marks Requirement: Different Universities and Colleges have different minimum marks requirements for admissions.

Course: There are mostly BSc. courses provided in various fields like Applied Sciences, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, etc. There is an Integrated BSc.-MSc. the course also provided by various colleges and universities. There are also 4 years BS degrees provided by some colleges and also 5 years Integrated BS-MS degrees.

Major Entrance Exams:

BITSAT: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test or BITSAT is taken by the Birla Institute of Science and Technology for its Integrated MSc. course in Mathematics, various B.Tech courses and B.Pharma course offered at its three campuses namely Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

This is one of the best institutions for studying Integrated MSc. in India.

IAT or IISER Aptitude Test: The IISER Aptitude Test or Indian Institute of Science and Education and Research Aptitude Test is conducted for admissions into the 4 year BS programmes offered at IISER Bhopal and the 5 years BS MS dual degrees offered at all the 7 IISERs.

The BS 4-year degree is provided at IISER Bhopal in the following fields:

Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences.

The Admissions in the Science Programmes of IISERs are also given on the basis of the following merits:

• KVPY or Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana
• JEE Advanced and

ISI Admission Test: The Indian Statistical Institute Admission Test or ISI Admission Test is conducted for the B.Stat, B.Math undergraduate and various postgraduate courses offered in the field of Mathematics and Statistics by the Institute.
