Eligibility:

Subject Combination:  Any student having Science, Commerce or Arts stream in class 10+2 or its equivalent is eligible to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in India. Although for Subject-specific courses in BA some colleges and universities only allow candidates who have the same subject in class 12th or equivalent.

Educational Qualification: 10+2 or it's equivalent from any recognized board or University.

Age Limit: For particular colleges and universities do check their specific age limits for admissions.

Marks Requirement: For specific Entrance Examinations and College/University admissions do check their respective minimum marks required to meet the eligibility criteria.

Course:  There are BA Courses provided in various fields like Fine Arts, Liberal Arts, Performance Arts, Law, Culinary Arts, Economics, Languages like English, Hindi, Urdu, Persian, Tamil, German, Spanish, Urdu, etc. There are also 4 years or 5 years Integrated courses of BA MA that are provided by various colleges and universities in India.

Major Entrance Examinations:

CUET UG: CUET UG or Common Universities Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses has been started from the year 2022 and its score is used for admissions by all the Central Universities and many Private Universities all over India for many of their Undergraduate Courses including the various BA or BAchelor of Arts or Integrated BA-MA courses. The exam is conducted all over India in different phases and is currently the biggest entrance examination in India for many courses.
