Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow, also known as UPDGME conducts the counselling session for UP MBBS/BDS admissions . The process of UP NEET UG counselling will be conducted in a total of three rounds including a mop-up round. Only those candidates who will be included in UP NEET merit list will be eligible to participate in the UP NEET counselling 2023 session for admission under 85% state quota seats. In order to participate in the UP MBBS/BDS counselling process, aspirants have to follow the document verification process.
During the UP MBBS admission seat allotment, candidates will be required to fill their preference of colleges in which they wish to get into. In that choice filling session, aspirants can select as many numbers of colleges as they want for the UP MBBS/BDS allotment process. On the grounds of the choices filled by the candidate, availability of seats, NEET All India Rank, reservation criteria, and various other factors, UP MBBS 2022 admission will be granted. UP NEET Counselling- Step-By-Step Procedure
As UP MBBS counselling will be held in the online mode, aspirants will be required to submit their options online. Aspirants will be required to login to the same portal where they have filled UP MBBS/BDS application form Steps on how to participate in UP NEET counseling are mentioned below
Step 1: Log in
Aspirants need to log in with their credentials such as NEET roll number and password that they created while registering. A list of colleges will then be displayed on the screen after the successful login.
Step 2: Online option Entry
From the list of the colleges, aspirants will be required to choose the colleges they wish to get into. Candidates can choose any number of colleges. The institutes which are already selected can be deleted and interchanged. Aspirants must save the choices after the selection.
Step 3: Online Choice Locking
After the choice filling, aspirants are required to lock their choice for the final submission before the UP MBBS 2022 counselling. Candidates should know that the choices locked cannot be changed again, therefore, they are advised to mark their options carefully.
Step 4 – UP MBBS seat allotment
Based on the choices filled by the aspirants during UP NEET UG counselling 2022, rank, seats available, reservation, and other factors, the authority will conduct the seat allotment. Candidates who will be allotted seats will be required to report to the allotted college before the stipulated time period along with the required documents
Uttar Pradesh MBBS and BDS Admission Eligibility Criteria
- Uttar Pradesh For MBBS admission candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Applicants one of the parents should continuously reside in the state for 10 years and the candidate must have studied for at least 5 years in the state during this period for Uttar Pradesh MBBS admission.
- In case, if any aspirant cannot fulfill the above-mentioned criteria of eligibility for Uttar Pradesh MBBS admission 2022, they must have to be a bonafide resident of the state to be eligible.
- Medical applicants must have to pass their 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually and must have to get at least an aggregate of 50% for the general category. While it is 40% and 45% for PH reserved and PH unreserved, respectively
- Uttar Pradesh MBBS 2022 admission candidates need to secure the minimum NEET cutoff 2022 percentile.
On the basis of scores obtained in NEET , successful registration and fulfillment of other factors for eligible candidates will be invited to participate in UP NEET 2022 counselling. It is mandatory for medical aspirants to qualify for NEET 2022 with the minimum qualifying percentile in order to secure a seat for themselves in the counselling of UP MBBS
Authority will conduct four rounds of online counselling for UP NEET 2022 – first, second, mop-up, and college-level rounds. Candidates whose names are included in the state merit list will be called for participation in UP NEET 2022 counselling processes. After the registration, the authority will commence the choice filling and locking for counselling of UP NEET. Candidates are advised to fill choices on the basis of priority, however, they can also opt for upgrading their allotted seats.

Uttar pradesh MBBS Merit List 2022
After the completion of registration and filling of the choices, the authority will tentatively release the merit list 2022 in online mode. Authority will prepare the merit list on the basis of obtained scores in NEET 2022 by candidates. While filling the application form the successfully registered candidates will only be enlisted in the state merit list. The admission 2022 comprises the candidate names, NEET roll no., application no., AIR, and scores of NEET 2022
