Candidate should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University

Candidates need to secure at least 50% marks in Science Subjects.

B.Sc. Med. Tech. (Operation Theatre)

Candidate should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University

Candidate need to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics

B.Sc. Med. Tech. Perfusionist

Candidate should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.

B.Sc Medical Technology (Dialysis Therapy Technology

Candidates need to secure at least 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology (PCM/B).

Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom)

The candidate should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University.

Candidates need to secure at least 60% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics.

Bachelors of Physiotherapy

The candidate should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University.

Candidates need to secure at least 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology), Mathematics (i.e.- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandates requirements).

 

Nationality:

The candidate must be an Indian National

Foreign Nationals:

A candidate applying for admission as a Foreign National candidate is required to take the print out of the online application form and furnish the relevant certificates required to route their application through the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi

Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)

The candidate should submit proof of Registration as OCI under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 at the time of counseling

Employed Candidates:

The Institute does not have any objection if the candidates in employment apply directly for Paramedical courses. However, all such candidates should inform their employer in writing that they are applying for this Entrance Test. They should also sign the undertaking in the downloaded copy of the Application form that they have informed their employer about the submission of the application to PGIMER, Chandigarh

 

Reservation

Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) & Other Backward Classes (OBC):

  • All candidates, irrespective of category may be considered against UR vacancies, subject to fulfillment of parameters for UR candidates. However, against the vacancies earmarked for specific categories (SC/ST/OBC), only candidates belonging to that community will be considered.
  • For availing reservation, SC/ST/OBC candidates should furnish Caste Certificate from competent authorities at the time of counseling.

 

Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD):

  • Five percent of seats shall be reserved for Persons (Indian Nationals) with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). The reservation will be provided on a horizontal basis, as per their rank in order of merit in the Entrance Test.
  • All one-eyed candidates and candidates whose visual degree of disability is less than 40% shall not be considered as Visually Impaired persons and the provision for engaging scribe shall not be applicable to them.

 

The PGIMER Paramedical Entrance Exam 2021 or the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Paramedical Entrance Exam 2021 will be conducted by PGIMER Chandigarh for admissions into its various paramedical courses offered at its campus.

The PGIMER Paramedical Entrance Exam 2021 will be conducted tentatively in the 4th week of June 2021 and the application for the same started from the 1st March 2021 on the PGIMER Official Website: https://pgimer.edu.in/.

PGIMER Paramedical Entrance Exam 2021 will be a 90 minutes duration exam having 100 questions for all the BSc. Paramedical Courses respectively.

The Application Form will be available tentatively till the last week of March 2021 and will be available only in the Online Mode.

The Application Fee for PGIMER Entrance Exam 2021 will be as follows:
