The NEST Exam Pattern 2021 is important to read for every student who wishes to appear for it.

The NEST Exam Pattern 2021 gives a clear idea to the student about the type of questions, exam duration exam language and various other important details about the examination.

Important Points:

• In each section, for certain questions there will be negative marking for incorrect answers. There is no negative marking for not answering the question
• Some questions may have one or more correct answers for which marks can only be earned by marking all correct answers and no wrong answer. 
• Merit list for both the institutes is prepared using the best 3 scores out of the four sections and the section with the worst score is omitted

The NEST Participating Colleges 2021 or NEST Participating Institutes 2021 include only two colleges i.e., NISER, Bhubaneswar & UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai for the following courses

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

Note: 5% of seats are reserved in every category, i.e., General, OBC–NCL, SC and ST for persons with disabilities (Divyangjan). Benefit would be given only to those who have at least 40% impairment irrespective of the type of disability i.e., locomotor, visual or dyslexic. Leprosy–cured candidates who are otherwise fit to pursue the course are also included in this sub–category
