Here are excerpts from the Interview :

Harshita: Recently, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the CBSE Board Examination 2021 will begin from 4th May and go on till 10th June. Considering this development, when do you think it would be the appropriate time for NTA to schedule the NEET 2021 Exam?

Brajesh :After the board examination, students will need at least one month to prepare and revise the NEET syllabus. So, this year NEET must be organized between 10th and 20th July.

Harshita: After the recent increase in the number of attempts for JEE Main from 2 to 4, do you think there should be an increase in the number of attempts for NEET too? If yes, according to you, how many attempts for NEET 2021 should be sufficient?

Brajesh : If possible, there must be two attempts in NEET this year. This way, students will not have to wait for a year for the next attempt. It will also cast a positive impact on aspirants as they will now have more than one attempt to perform their best, which will reduce the exam phobia. The first attempt should be conducted on 1st July, and the second  I must be taken around 30th July.

Harshita :Books have always been among the most important things for the students while formulating their preparation strategy; CBSE itself suggests that NCERT books are sufficient enough for the aspirants. So, according to you, how important are the NCERT Books for NEET Preparation, and what are some of the books you recommend for preparing each of the 3 sections in NEET?

Brajesh :NCERT books are the most authentic textbooks; they are the most optimal source of information regarding syllabus and content. So they are enough but being textbooks, they do not contain detailed explanations, which are required by every student. This can be fulfilled through Allen modules, so NCERT Books + Allen literature is the perfect combination for 100% selection.

Harshita :As we are all aware, that NEET examination consists of 3 different sections, every section has its own significance, so what according to you are the strategies that a student can follow to improve their performance in each of the 3 sections?

Brajesh : Each subject has a specific nature, which requires its own preparation strategy. In physics and physical chemistry, a student needs to practice more and more questions, and in in-organic Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, a student will require rapid, frequent revisions throughout the academic session.

Harshita : JEE Main exam pattern has undergone a few changes; now the student has to attempt 75% of questions. If the NEET exam pattern were also to undergo such changes, what options students will get & how it will become beneficial for them? What are your opinions on that?

Brajesh : I don't think there is a need for any such changes in the NEET Exam Pattern.

I hope the above interview will help students to achieve their dream Score in NEET examination.
