JEE Main Result 2022: Second Session Result Declared, Check your Score
JEE Main Result 2022: The JEE Main Result 2022 for the second session has been declared by the National Testing Agency of NTA on the official website of JEE Main: www.jeemain.nta.nic.in .
Along with the JEE Main Score the NTA also released the Final Answer key and all the question papers.
For the final result of JEE Main 2022 the normalization process is completed for all the candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2022 in both the June and July attempts. Candidates who appeared both the times are considered with their best score in either of the attempts.
In the JEE Main Result 2022 the NTA will also declare the Qualification Status of the candidates for the JEE Advanced 2022 as per the cut-off decided by the Joint Admission Board or JAB of the IITs.
The JEE Main Result 2022 will contain the following information:

Candidate Category Rank
Score Obtained in all Subjects and Total Score
Qualification Status for JEE Advanced.
The Selected top candidates in JEE Main Result 2022 will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2022 which will conducted by the IITs for admissions in their various undergraduate Engineering, Science and Architecture courses.
The top candidates are selected for JEE Advanced as per their cut-off in their respective categories.
JEE Main Counselling Procedure 2022:
The JEE Main Counselling Procedure or Admission Procedure 2022 will start immediately after the JEE Advanced Result 2022 is declared. The Counselling Procedure will be conducted by JOSAA 2022 or Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2022 in coordination with the Joint Admission Board or JAB of the IITs or Indian Institutes of Technology and CSAB or Central Seat Allocation Board of NITs, IIITs and CFTIs or GFTIs. After JOSAA two special rounds are conducted by the CSAB 2022 or Central Seat Allocation Board for the Counselling of remaining vacant seats in the NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs and GFTIs after the completing of JOSAA 2022 Final Counselling Round.
The JEE Main Counselling Procedure 2022 also includes the CSAB NEUT 2022 or Central Seat Allocation Board for North Eastern States and Union Territories which is conducted for admissions to the candidates who belong from the following states and Union Territories on the basis of JEE Main Score:
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Daman & Diu.
*Please Note: These seats are different from the seats those are offered in CSAB 2022 in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
The Counselling by JOSAA 2022 will be done on the basis of Common Rank Lists of JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2022. The admissions in only the IITs will be based upon the Ranks of JEE Advanced for the rest the admissions will be based on the JEE Main 2022 Rank.
Also, in the Counselling the admissions will be given to candidates based on their respective category Rank and for some colleges like NITs also on the basis of their Home State as some of the seats are reserved for the Home State Quota in many NITs. The Home State is the state from which the candidates completed their class 12th or its equivalent.

The JEE Main Counselling Procedure 2022 is as follows:
After the last Round of JOSAA 2022 the remaining seats that are left vacant in the NITs, IIITs and GFTIs will be declared by JOSAA and admissions into the same will be conducted by the CSAB or Central Seat Allocation Board in two special Rounds based upon the JEE Main 2022 Rank.
Simultaneously of the JOSAA 2022 and CSAB 2022 the CSAN NEUT 2022 Counselling will be carried on for the admissions of the candidates of the North Eastern States and Union Territories and the four Union Territories as mentioned above.
After all the JEE Main Counselling Procedure 2022 is completed the classes in all the respective institutions will begin and the new session for the courses commences.
