JEE Main  cut-off will be of two types - Admission and Qualifying cut-offs. Aspirants who are successful in securing the qualifying cut off marks should acquire the minimum marks needed to be eligible for contesting in JEE Advanced. The ones securing the minimum marks that come under admission cut off become eligible to present their candidature for admission in IITs.
