The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi Entrance Exam 2021 or IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 will be conducted for admissions in the India Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi for the ab-initio Commercial Pilot Licence or CPL. The IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 will be conducted by IGRUA on 21st August 2021. The IGRUA Exam Pattern 2021 also helps in the planning of preparation for the examination and successfully clearing the same.

The IGRUA Exam Pattern 2021 details are as follows:

Selection Procedure of IGRUA for CPL course:

The selected candidate will be required to produce the following documents in originals as well as a xerox of each document at the time of interview.

• Proof of Date of Birth like 10th Class certificate.
• 10th Mark sheet
• 10+2 Mark sheet
• Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidates
• A Certificate from the competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to the Creamy layer.
• A Certificate from an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar that the candidate falls under the EWS category.
• Admit Card Downloaded for Written Test

IGRUA Pilot Aptitude Test in Brief:

• Only successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final selection.
• No relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/EWS/OBC Candidates in Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test.

The Selection Procedure for the course includes the following steps:

• IGRUA Entrance Exam at various centers all over India.
• Pilot Aptitude Test,
• the interview by an interview board comprising of representatives from industry bigwigs like NACIL, DGCA, Psychologist and IGRUA examiners.

The selection of candidates for Ab-initio (PPL or Private Pilot License) to CPL Course is done as per merit compiled after Written Test, Pilot Aptitude Test and the Interview.

A portion of total Seats is reserved for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories of candidates as per GOI guidelines.

IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 Key Points:

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Application Form 2021 will be released online on the IGRUA official website: www.igrua.gov.in . The Application Form is available on the IGRUA Official Website from 5th April to 17th July 2021. The Application Fee for IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 will be ₹12000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and there will be no fee charged from the SC & ST candidates.

The IGRUA Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination. The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands canceled or void.

Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with 50 percent marks in aggregate. The minimum age limit is 17 years. In addition to that, an aspirant who wants to become a pilot must have a 6/6 vision and should be physically fit to meet all medical standards devised by the flying schools.

The Selected Candidates will also have to clear the Medical Standards for Admissions.

Medical Standards: Selected candidates may join with a Class II medical certificate; however, they will have to clear & submit Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate subsequently. Please check for the List of Centres/Doctors for Class-I & II medical certificates available at the DGCA Website.

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Participating Colleges 2021 includes the list of colleges that take admissions into the Ab-Initio to CPL course through the IGRUA Entrance Exam. Presently only the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi or IGRUA only takes admissions through IGRUA Entrance Exam to its 90 seats offered in the Ab-initio to CPL course.

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021 will be available for download on the candidate’s login on the IGRUA Entrance Exam official website: www.igrua.gov.in. Candidates can download the admit card from 9th August 2021

The IGRUA Entrance Exam Result 2021 will be declared online by the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi or IGRUA on its official website: www.igrua.gov.in . The Candidates can check their Results online by logging into their Candidate Login on the IGRUA Official Website.

The IGRUA Counselling Procedure 2021 or IGRUA Admission Selection process 2021 for the Ab-initio to CPL course offered at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi or IGRUA starts right after the IGRUA Entrance Exam Result 2021 is declared.
