The DUET Exam Pattern 2021 is important to read for every student who wishes to appear for it. The DUET Exam Pattern 2021 gives a clear idea to the student about the type of questions, exam duration exam language, and various other important details about the examination.

The DUET exam pattern is as such that the Delhi University Entrance Exam is conducted in online mode (computer-based test). The exam duration is of two hours. The total marks of DUET are 400 marks and for every wrong answer, one mark is deducted. The DUET Exam Pattern 2021 also helps in the planning of preparation for the examination and successfully clearing the same. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) is conducted by Delhi University in order to offer admission to aspirants in various UG, PG, MPhil, and Ph.D. programs. DUET 2021 exam is conducted in three shifts across 101 exam centers in 18 cities. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts DUET on behalf of Delhi University.

The national-level entrance exam is conducted in online mode i.e. computer-based test. DUET is conducted for all programs such as UG, PG, MPhil, and Ph.D. The DUET 2021 official dates have not yet been released. The DUET 2021 exam schedule is expected to be released in the month of April 2021.

One of the biggest Admission Criteria in the various UG and PG Courses of Delhi University or the University of Delhi is DUET or Delhi University Entrance Test.

General Pattern of Entrance Tests:

1) Selection/ Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks secured in the written entrance test.

2) The written entrance test, of two hours duration, will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) (four choices each) designed to evaluate the aptitude of the applicants through areas as relevant to each subject.

3) There will be 100 questions. Each correct answer will get a score of plus 4 marks, each wrong answer will get a score of minus 1 mark and a question not answered will get a score of zero marks.

4) For admission to Music courses, the entrance test will be of a practical nature.

 

The syllabus for DUET is different for different courses offered by Delhi University. Departments of various colleges release the syllabus on the basis of requirement. A syllabus helps the candidate better prepare for the entrance exam as they have an idea of what to expect in the test.
