The DUET 2021 or Delhi University Entrance Test will be conducted for the admissions in the various UG or Undergraduate and PG or Postgraduate courses offered by the various Departments and the different colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi.

The University of Delhi is by far the biggest Central University in India and offers an ample number of courses in various fields like Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Medical Sciences, Dental Sciences, and various other fields.

The admissions in the various Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses offered by the University of Delhi is either by merit in class 12th or its equivalent, or merit in graduation, through Sports Quota or ECA (Extra Curricular Activities) Quota and various other methods.

The Delhi University Entrance Test Application Form 2021 or DUET Application Form 2021 will be available for online registration on the UG Admission Portal of Delhi University: https://ug.du.ac.in/ .

The Candidates interested in the various Undergraduate Courses that are offered through DUET in the different departments of the Delhi University and in the various colleges affiliated to the Delhi University can complete the online registration to appear for the DUET 2021.

The DUET Application form 2021 Fee will be as follows: ₹750 for UR/OBC and ₹300 for SC/ST/PWD/EWS candidates respectively.

The DUET Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands canceled or void.

The DUET Participating Colleges 2021 or Delhi University Entrance Test Participating Colleges are the different colleges affiliated to Delhi University that take admissions in their various undergraduate courses through DUET.

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counseling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

The DUET Admit Card 2021 will be released online by NTA for downloading at least two or three weeks before the DUET Exam Dates. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website. Dates for downloading admit cards will be intimated on the website https://nta.ac.in/.

The DUET Result 2021 for the various entrance tests conducted for the different courses will be released by the NTA or National Testing Agency on its official website: www.nta.nic.in tentatively in the first week of July 2021.

There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

After the DUET Result 2021 is declared the admissions in the respective courses of the Entrance Tests will be given on the basis of DUET Counselling Procedure 2021 or DUET Admission Procedure 2021.

The DUET Counselling Procedure 2021 will start just after the DUET Results are declared by the NTA. The Counselling Procedure will be conducted by the Delhi University or the University of Delhi for the admissions to the various courses taking admissions via the DUET 2021.

The DUET Counselling Procedure or DUET Admission Counselling Procedure 2021 for the various courses will be done as follows:

Apart from the DUET Result for the following courses, these additional steps will also be followed:

BA (Hons.) Music Applicants are required to appear for a practical entrance test in order to be considered for admission to the courses. The modalities will be notified on the website of the University of Delhi. However, they will have to register themselves on the portal.

BSc (PE, HE&S) Applicants are also required to furnish details of sports proficiency in order to be considered for admission to the course along with the written test. The modalities will be notified on the website of the University of Delhi.

Declaration of Result/ Merit List:

A ranking of applicants will be prepared for each course that shall guide the admission process and shall be displayed on the Admission Portal.

The final ranking shall not have any repeated ranks. In the case of a tie for a rank, the following tie-breaking rule shall be applied.

Reopening of the portal for the alteration of Course/College option:

The portal will be open for the alteration of the course-college preferences for one day after the declaration of entrance test results. Applicants are advised to examine the location of the college and college fee for the course before finalizing their order of preference. No request for change of course-college will be entertained after this.

Allotment of Course and/or College

For all the entrance-based courses the allotment of seats shall be done centrally and shall be displayed on the Admission Portal. Only the applicants who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria for the course will be considered for admission.

Applicants allotted a course and a college/institution shall be required to confirm their interest in the admission by selecting and confirming the college (and course) from their Dashboard on the Admission Portal within the time period as per the University of Delhi policy.

Online verification of documents by respective colleges/ Centres/ Departments: The Colleges/ Centres/ Departments shall verify the documents uploaded by the applicant for eligibility.

Payment of fees to confirm admission: Once the Principal/ Director/ HoD has approved their admission, the applicant will receive a link on their Dashboard on the UG Admissions portal through which they must submit the college/course fees due. This fee can only be paid online through the portal.

Physical verification of the documents: The uploaded documents will be verified by the respective colleges within the stipulated time period. If at this stage it is found that the information given by the applicant is false and is not supported by the documents presented, the admission will be immediately canceled. No fees will be refunded in such cases.

Process for change of Course/College in subsequent Merit List: During a given list the applicant will be required to choose one of the two options: – Option 1: Wish to be reallotted a seat higher in his/her preference order if the same is available; or – Option 2: He/ she is satisfied with the currently allotted seat and does not want another allotment of seat.

Spot Admission Round: The Admission portal shall display the number of seats available in each course and/ or college after the admission to the Third Merit List.

After the Admission Procedure through DUET is completed by the University of Delhi and the respective departments and colleges, the classes for the New ASession begin at all departments and the colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi.
