The BITSAT 2021 Scores will also be used for admissions by the NIIT University.

Students must go through the Participating Colleges and their seat distribution before filling up their choices for admissions in the counselling procedure. The candidate has a clear idea about the chances of getting admissions through this entrance examination after reading about the participating colleges in detail.

The Participating Colleges in any Entrance Exam also reflect the importance of that examination in a great manner as more important the participating colleges in an examination the more important that entrance examination becomes.

So, students must go through the Participating Colleges while applying for any entrance examination and do a thorough research about the quality of those participating colleges in the entrance examination.

After the BITSAT Result 2021 is declared the candidates will be allotted seats in the BITSAT Participating Colleges 2021 as per their BITSAT Score.

BITSAT 2021 Important Points:

  • There is no time limit for individual parts of the test.
  • The candidates can go back and change any of his/her answers among the 150 questions.
  • If a candidate answers all the 150 questions (without skipping any question), the candidates will have an option of attempting 12 (twelve) extra questions, if there is still time left. These extra questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology only; four questions from each part. Further, once the candidates have opted for extra questions, he/she cannot go back for correction of any of the earlier answered 150 questions.
  • The scores will be immediately displayed after the examination is over to maintain transparency.

 

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfil a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

Minimum Marks Requirement

  • Candidate must have secured at least 75% marks aggregate in PCM or in PCB in their 12th class.
  • Candidate must also secure a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.

BITSAT 2021 Direct Admission to Board Toppers:

  • Admission process of BITS Pilani always ensured guaranteed admission to all the students who obtained first ranks in their respective board examinations.
  • First rank students of all the central and state boards in India for the year 2021 will be given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2021 score.

‘Computer Based Online test’ means the candidate sits in front of a computer and the questions are presented on the computer monitor and the candidate answers the questions on the computer through the use of keyboard or mouse. Each computer is connected to a server, which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer. This is unlike the traditional paper pencil based test, which is generally offered on a single day to all candidates. BITSAT 2021 will be offered over a period of time and the candidate can choose the Centre, the Day and Time of his/her convenience to take the test.

At the completion of the test, the computer will announce the result to the candidate in terms of number of total correct answers and wrong answers, with the score. The candidate can also check his or her score report at the BITS admission website on the next day of his or her test date. The candidate can also take a printout of his or her score report for any further usage. No student will be allowed to repeat the test in the same year.
