BHU UET Eligibility Criteria 2021: The BHU UET Eligibility Criteria 2021 is necessary for students to read before doing registration for the examination.

The Eligibility Criteria is important for any examination because even if a candidate does not fulfill a single criterion of the eligibility criteria declared for the examination then the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination or even after appearing for the examination and clearing the same the admission through the examination stands cancelled or void.

B. A. (Hons.) Arts

Candidate should not be more than 22 years on 1st July 2021.

Candidates should have Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.

 

Candidates from any Subject Stream are eligible.

B. A. (Hons.) Social Sciences

Candidate should not be more than 22 years on 1st July 2021.

Candidates should have Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.

 

Candidates from any Subject Stream are eligible.

B. A. (Hons.) Economics

Candidate should not be more than 22 years on 1st July 2021.

Candidate must have offered Mathematics as one subject at High School Examinations.

 

Candidates from any Subject Stream are eligible.

B.Com. (Hons.)/ B.Com. (Hons.) Financial Markets Management

Candidate should not be more than 22 years on 1st July 2021.

Candidates should have Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.

 

Commerce/ Economics/ Maths/ Computer Sc./Finance/Financial Markets Management/Vocational courses (related to Commerce)

B. Sc. (Hons.) Maths Group

Candidate should not be more than 22 years on 1st July 2021.

Candidates should have Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in the subjects Physics, Mathematics.

Chemistry, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology and Geography

B. Sc. (Hons.) Bio Group

Candidate should not be more than 22 years on 1st July 2021.

Candidate should have Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in the subjects Physics, Chemistry.

 

Biology, Geology and Geography

B. Sc (Hons.) Ag./B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. -RGSC

Candidate should not to be less than 16 years and not more than 25 years on 1st July, 2021

Candidates should have passed 10+2 OR equivalent examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in the subjects Physics, Chemistry.

 

Biology, Maths or Agriculture

B.A.LL.B. (Hons)

 

Candidate who has successfully completed/ is appearing in Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized University of India.

 

Candidates from any Subject Stream are eligible.

B.F.A. (Bachelor of Fine Arts)

Candidate should not be more than 22 years on 1st July 2021.

Candidates should have Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate

 

Candidates from any Subject Stream are eligible.

 

Vocational Courses:

Bachelor of Vocation in Retail & Logistics Management

Bachelor of Vocation in Hospitality & Tourism Management

Bachelor of Vocation (Fashion Designing & Event Management)

Bachelor of Vocation (Modern Office Management)

 

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent, in any stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.

 

Bachelor of Vocation in Food Processing & Management

 

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent, in science stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.

 

Bachelor of Vocation in Medical Lab. Technology

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent, in science stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.

 

 

Relaxation in Minimum Eligibility for SC/ST/OBC/PwD:

  • In the case of SC/ST candidates, for all the above courses [B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)] there will be no requirement for minimum percentage of marks in the aggregate in the qualifying examination except that they must have passed the qualifying examination & appeared in the concerned Entrance Test.
  • The SC/ST candidates seeking admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) must have scored at least 40% marks in the aggregate considering all the subjects in the Qualifying Examination as per recommendations of Bar Council of India.
  • For OBC and PWD candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination in minimum eligibility requirements, in comparison to general category candidates.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for PwD/SC/ST/OBC Candidates:

  • For SC/ST/PwD Catogories, upper age limit relaxation is 5 years.
  • For OBC Category, upper age limit relaxation is 3 years.

Minimum Marks Requirement in Entrance Test:

Candidate shall be admitted in a course according to merit drawn on the basis of aggregate marks secured in the Entrance Test provided he/she fulfils the minimum eligibility criteria and minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test.

 

 

Minimum qualifying marks in an Entrance Test shall be determined as follows:

  • For General/ OBC categories, Candidate need to secure at least 35% of the marks obtained by the topper of the concerned categories in the concerned Entrance Test.
  • For SC/ ST categories, Candidate need to secure at least 25% of the marks obtained by the topper of the concerned categories in the concerned Entrance Test.
