ACET January 2021: The Actuarial Common Entrance Test January 2021 or ACET January 2021 is being conducted for giving admissions in the student membership of the Institute of Actuaries of India. The ACET 2021 for January is being conducted on 9th January, 2021 online via home based online test.
Once a Student is enrolled as a Student Member after clearing ACET the candidate can start the studies for the various subjects of the Actuarial Sciences and clear the required number of examinations to be enrolled as a fellow member of the Institute of Actuaries of India and become an Actuary.

*Please Note: This is not an Entrance Examination for joining any college, as the Institute of Actuaries of India does not provide a full time residential course for becoming an Actuary. In Fact, a candidate can complete a regular graduation and post-graduation course along with studying Actuarial Sciences.
ACET is conducted Twice a year and the result of the ACET is valid for 3 years for enrolling as a student member at The Institute of Actuaries of India.

ACET Application Form 2021: The ACET Application Form 2021 for ACET January 2021 is available for Online Registration on www.actuariesindia.org .
The ACET 2021 Online registration have started on 23rd October, 2020 and will end on 8th December, 2020 up to 3pm.

The procedure for the Online Registration of ACET January 2021 is as follows:
1) Go to IAI website and signup at http://www.actuariesindia.org/subMenu.aspx?id=4&val=ACET
2) It is mandatory to upload your passport size photograph as per the mentioned specification. You will receive a confirmation email, in case your uploaded photograph is up to the mark, else you will be receiving a rejection email asking you to re-upload.

3) Select State, City and enter pin code at the time of registration from where you will appear for the examination.
4) Use registered email id and Contact number throughout the examination process.
5) On filling up the Online Registration Form, you will receive a confirmation mail at your registered email id giving you the link to proceed further by giving other details, uploading your photograph and making payment of registration fees by Debit or Credit Card or Internet Banking.

6) After successful registration, you will be able to download the Welcome Kit of one Sample Question Paper, Indicative Solution from your login download tab using the same id and password you had used for online ACET registration.
7) You will also receive an e-mail at your registered e-mail address confirming your registration and successful payment. (Inform the authorities immediately, at [email protected] or call at 022-62433336 in case, you do not receive it).
8) All correspondence will be and has to be done through your registered email id.
9) Hall Ticket will be available under your ACET Login on 23rd December 2020 for download at the below mentioned Link http://www.actuariesindia.org/ACET%20module/Acet_login.aspx
10) All examination related details will be updated under your ACET Login on 5th January 2021.
11) Ensure to print your Hall Ticket and keep Government issued photo Id proof (Aadhaar card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID card or PAN card), in original (Hard Copy) with you during the Examination, if you fail to do so you will not be allowed to appear the examination.

ACET January 2021 Hall Ticket: The ACET January 2021 Hall Ticket will be available on 23rd December, 2020 under the candidate’s ACET login on the following link:

ACET January 2021 Result: The ACET January 2021 result will be declared on 16th January, 2021 on the official website of Institute of Actuaries of India:
www.actuariesindia.org . The Result will be declared in the form of PDF showing the list of all candidates that pass the ACET January 2021.
The Result will also show the number of candidates who appeared for the examination along with the list of candidates that passed the ACET January 2021.
The ACET January 2021 Result will also mention the details of the topper of the examination along with the pass percentage of ACET January 2021.
ACET Enrolment for Student Membership after ACET January 2021:
Please Note that the ACET Result is valid for 3 years from the date of declaration of ACET Result for taking Student membership of IAI or Institute of Actuaries of India.
The successful candidates in ACET January 2021 examination who have been declared pass in the result can become a student member of IAI till 3 years after the declaration of the result. If anyhow they do not register for the student membership during this period then they will have to reappear for the examination after 3 years.
Important Note: Any person who enrols himself for examination of the Institute, and possesses such qualifications as is specified, is admitted as a student member of the Institute on such terms and conditions as is specified. A student member shall not have any rights to vote on any matter or resolution in any meeting of the Institute.
